It has always been my experience that NPs are the absolute best people to diagnose and treat most medical issues because they are NOT specialists. That was the case when I landed in front of Aaron Clousing (weird infections resulting from what I was told was a "routine" surgery (surgeons for example always think surgery is the answer). His focus was merely to help me (the patient) heal, and he went out of his way to make sure that I could understand AND UTILIZE his suggestions. I highly recommend him for wound care.

Aaron practices healthcare in the most professional, friendly, and understandable way. His demeanor and personality immediately puts any worries or questions at ease. He reviews your situation; then explains in detailed Laymans terms his diagnosis and suggestions on how to proceed with the wound care process. Aaron presents himself very professional; then immediately adapts to your home environment, and carries himself in a confident manner. When the appointment has finished, he makes sure that you completely understand what he has done and asks if you have any questions before leaving. He literally prevented another amputation because of his constant care. The wound has healed completely to the point where we will sadly have to say good bye. I would feel very confident and comfortable recommending him to my friends and family. On a scale between 1 - 10, I give Aaron a 12.

He does everything quick and simple right to the point if you know you know they have a busy life with lots of patients on his list yes my appointments where fast but if you pay attention you will learn. I would highly suggest this nurse retake an OSHA training course before treating patients. Unfortunately Mr Clousing lacks empathy, respect and appropriate boundaries for pts and their family. As a physician I witnessed this nurse handle my family member without utilizing appropriate CDC COVID guidelines and safety protocols. Mr Clousing had the audacity to attempt to implement his personal beliefs regarding COVID during his visit. This nurse had no idea that I was a physician and much of his medical advice was concerning and impractical. As a medical professional what I observed was appalling, irresponsible and inconsiderate for the safety and well being of patients.

Very condescendiing with the elderly and a bully.

I'm a caretaker for one of Aaron's patients. He not only possesses vast knowledge in his area of specialty, he brings an energy with him when he visits. This energy fills the room and comforts his patients. He speaks confidently and, from what I can tell, cares deeply for the well being of his patients while maintaining respect and dignity to their wishes as well.
