I met him when he saved my life after having a ruptured brain aneurysm and was transported to Kaweah delta By a life flight , As he rushed from home to meet me at the hospital, I was there at three or four days before I realized where I was what happened and that’s when I met Dr. when I came to my senses, he was there every day for me is absolutely the best doctor I’ve ever encountered And that is saying a lot since I was brought up in a medical family and my father was a surgeon so

Dr Mocsary was kind and compassionate, and well versed in the medical disorders I was seeing him for. He listened carefully to my history, which is somewhat complex, and distilled the most important factors to focus on in my treatment plan. His office MA, Nelda, is bright and knowledgeable. They are a great healthcare team. In 7 weeks I have gone from severe pain to improved functioning and more quality time with my family. Dr Mocsary really understood what I needed to get well. I am so grateful and will continue with him as my neurologist.

I waited 2 months to be seen(March to May). Finally heard back, had an appointment scheduled. His receptionist called the day before my appointment and said they needed to reschedule. Next opening would be late June(if he’s back by then). No way am I waiting 3 months to be seen(or canceled on again). I will look for a reliable Neurologist. Funny seeing from other reviews that he cancels on patients a lot. Not very professional.

Doctor Mocsary was so helpful and actually listened to me. He had great insight as to what is going on with me. I so appreciate him and his staff. I was teary-eyed because he actually listened as other have not.

I had 2 appointments they canceled before my first appointment with him. I had to wait 3 months to see him. I have cervical stenosis with a lot of pain and my arms and hands are numb and tingling. All he wanted to treat were my headaches. That's all he was interested in. I was so disappointed. I thought I was going to finally get the help I need and nope. Got a shot for headaches. Didn't get another appointment. I asked if he was going to see me again . To make a nother appointment they said they didn't know

I read the reviews with special attention to comments about his assistant, Nelda. I found her pleasant and professional. Doctor identified other areas of my health that need attention. I’m very grateful for that and look forward to working with him.

seems nice but lack of treatment i had an episode movement disorder during the visit n did nothing....no test...barely examined me...knows my current condition n progressing.....come on i clearly showing signs of neurological issue but all he wanted to treat migraines ??

Poor scheduling. Cancels several set appointments at last minute, and can not get you in for a couple of months after he is the one to cancel

Dr Mocsary never had a good bedside manner. I work in the medical field myself and sometimes would have to cancel appointments due to my own bosses schedule. I tried to make a follow up appointment recently and was discharged as a patient because of “cancelled appointments” in the past, over 3 years ago mind you. Never will I ever refer any of my patients to this facility or this provider. He was rude during appointments and has the poorest bedside manner I’ve ever seen.

My mother and father have both seen Dr. Mocsary. He and his MA Nelda are both very caring people. They truly do try to help. They have provided samples of expensive medication and this means a lot to my family. You never no maybe someone is having a bad day or this person.. or maybe you as the patients daughter is the problem. We have been going to them for 8 years now and never have we had any issues of any sort!

Terrible experience! His M.A. For 18 years, name is Nelda has no personality whatsoever. She is very uncaring, gives the impression that she hates her job. From day 1, Dr. Moscary stated my dads reasoning for major headache was due to a migraine. My dad asked Dr. if he can perform tests to be done, like x-rays of MRI, doctor always went around the conversation and never made an effort to seek further treatment. This office needs to be audited! We aren't the 1st or the last to be mistreated!

Dr. Mocsary is a good doctor with the heart of a healer. Of course, his knowledge and skill was of utmost importance when he saw my husband for a possible brain tumor, but his kindness and compassion and the time he took with us during that very stressful time meant as much to us as his knowledge and skill. we are thankful VMC has a doctor of this caliber on their staff.
