Disappointing
Dr. Billinkoff is one of the worst doctors I've ever been treated by. I was in tears when I left her office after the third time seeing her and that's when I decided to switch doctors. She is extremely cold and judgemental with an air of arrogance. I have a huge respect for doctors and the hard work they experience for the sake of their practice but this woman chose the wrong career.

I found Dr Bilinkoff presumptive and Pompous. She talked down to me, diagnosed me within 5 minutes of our appointment and made me read a mini dsm to confirm though I disagreed. She prescribed me medication that was very strong and when I got a second opinion I was told it is given to developmentally delayed patients to subdue them and was immediately taken off it. She is terrible.

Dr. Billinkoff helped me immensely. She is very kind, calm and listens to her patients. Before seeing her I struggled with an eating disorder and sleeping issues that were completely disrupting my life. She put my on the right medication that has finally made things stable for me. I definitely recommend her if you are in the Providence, RI area.

I'm leaving a review simply because I was shocked by sime of these bad reviews. I saw Dr. Bilinkoff for approx 10 visits about 4 years ago. She was incredibly professional, caring and knowledgeable. One of the best docs I've seen. She was extremely methodical in her explanations and the way she approached a problem. When you are feeling depressed, your perceptions csn be way off, so pleass take the negative reviews with that in mind. She is the ONLY psychiatrist Is ever see in the future.

Inconsistent in her explanations, as well as recommending taking me off the only medication I have had success with, with no explanation why. She refuses to increase levels of medication even as my depression envelops me and starts roaring back, and recently stopped responding to phone calls and prescribing medication. She is irresponsible and put me, her patient, in danger. My therapist agreed with me that she also doesn't ask nearly enough questions to determine if the med course is effective

Dr. Billinkoff is the best. Period. End of discussion. I have never had a doctor as caring and professional. Quite frankly I doubt I'd be alive if not for her. I doubt I could ever find someone as good.

Zoe is very cold, no empathy , she belittles her patient and I come out of her office feeling worse than when I went in. She should not be a psychiatrist.

I really don't like Dr. Billingkoff. I don't think she listens to me and I often feel like she belittles me. I feel like she doesn't understand I have a mental illness and can't always do everything myself. I also do not like that she disagrees with my previous diagnosis and wants to take me off my medication. My therapist and I agreed that would be a very bad idea. I just wish she would listen more and be more compassionate and empathetic.
