Very negative, she was condescending and pushy.

Would NOT recommend. Extremely condescending and terrible bed-side manner. Spent more time criticizing choice in day care then providing actual care for the child.

Dr. Laska is one of the finest physicians I've ever encountered. She's brilliant, endlessly patient, and beyond compassionate. She's amazing when it comes to educating parents and providing support during the overwhelming adventure of early child/parenthood. She's always 100% spot on...my husband thinks she's psychic, because she's simply always right. When my child developed a life threatening illness, her support was unreal. She got us through our worst nightmare...she is simply wonderful

Honestly, do not go see this doctor. Just don't. Don't even go to Merrillwood at all. Dr. Laska was incredibly condescending from the get-go, and too busy lecturing about car seats (even after I told her we use one) and eating habits (my kid eats just fine) than listening to my actual concerns. The office staff is always rude. And I mean ALWAYS! I hung in there with them for way too long before taking our business elsewhere. Save yourself the grief! Avoid Merrillwood Pediatrics like the plague!

Very disappointing! She spent a lot of the time lecturing to me about the developmental stages of a 1 year old and then proceeded to hammer in what my child should/should not be eating. In fact, while she's spitting out her knowledge, she was totally clueless about how ineffective her approach at communicating was with a first time patient. She lacked the bed-side manner that every patient is expecting when you walk into a doctors officel. Her staff, on the other hand, was excellent.
