Correct diagnosis
I was referred to doctor to Dr Li after three other doctors could not diagnose the cause of my headaches the doctor took time out to listen to my concerns and how the headaches were affecting me. He came up with a diagnosis and a treatment plan which has worked.

Dr. Li has been my wife’s doctor for the treatment of Alzheimer’s. She was against going to any doctor however when we meet with Dr. Li he made her feel very comfortable. Our appointments has always been pleasant and we are pleased with the treatment he has given to her. Dr. Li is very knowledgeable in his field of medicine. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has a need for his service.

Dr. Li has taken on my migraines, which have been a lifelong problem and one that many doctors have tried to fix. Dr. Li has tried some new medications and methods to address my headaches, which had some improvement. I feel he is trying his best to find a treatment that works best for me and he allows me to have input in my care plan.

Dr Li has taken over my care in Dr Hagerty’s absence and, although I’ve missed her warmth & compassion, Dr Li is simply wonderful. He’s thorough, very interested in managing my condition and in educating me on non-medicinal pain relief. I’m so very grateful for his nurse, Kathy, too.

Dr. Li was a Godsend to me. I have an unusual nerve pain affecting my lower back and leg. He took much care and time to help find the cause and plan of treatment. He took time to ask me questions and explain his findings to me. I appreciate him educating me to my medical condition and helping me to feel apart of my treatment.I fully trust him and hope to have him as my doctor again in the future!

I have only had positive professional visits with Dr. LI. My tailbone pain is completely gone because of him. I would go back to him again.

After waiting several weeks for a spinal injection, my appointment was abruptly cancelled yesterday. No reason given; no backup doctor; no offer to re schedule me with another practice. Now I am left with no pain management doctor and have to start the whole referral process from scratch. Very disappointed in Wilmington Health. Did this happen to anyone else? It’s as if Dr Li dropped off the face of the earth.

I had an appalling visit with Dr. Li. After he diagnosed my problem of severe back pain he recommended steroid injection for pain relief, the only problem was that he couldn’t perform the procedure for 3+ weeks! He offered no alternative pain relief ie., medication or exercise or anything. I am allergic to codeine and NSAID’s so I had no idea what to do. My husband was with me in the exam room, as we were leaving to make an appointment for treatment (which did not happen!) he reached towards me

Dr. Li is informative, he and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I applaud him most for not just perscribing opioids and moving onto the next patient. His treatment helped me when nothing else did.

I recently reviewed Dr. Li but would now like to update. He suggested 3 series of injections. After the 1st injection, I had no change. After the 2nd and 3rd round, I still had no change. The pain was still excruciating and getting worse. After he injected me the 3rd time, and I was not having any relief, he literally threw his hands up in the air stating this is not his area of expertise? What? It was the past month. He referred me to a PODIATRIST?? I would not recommend this DR.

Dr. Li was a God Send for my pain relief. He is very, very good with finding where and what is causing your pain. Then he treats it with great knowledge and a wonderful bedside manner. Since I started going to Dr Li my quality of life has improved beyond what I ever thought was possible. Another great thing for me is now I no longer have to depend on any types of medication that was just a band-aid, now my relief is so very long term. He treats you with great concern and professionalism.

My experience with Dr. Li was disturbing. I came in with cd's showing damaged vertebrae in my neck from 2 years ago. I was experiencing numbness in my arms, a tremor in my hand, and dizziness in certain positions almost daily. Not only did he refuse to take new pictures, he refused to look at old ones. He said he wanted to make his own diagnosis. He wasn't there to argue and I could leave if I wanted. (Quote). He was willing to let me leave with those symptoms. Condescending, rude, zero empathy

Dr. Li is one of the most pompous, condescending, compassionless Dr.'s I've ever had the misfortune to deal with in my life. I don't know if he was speaking to me in that manner because I'm a woman? Any question I had regarding treatment he seemed offended, like I was questioning his expertise. How dare I be proactive about my own health?! When he answered my questions he would say my name first, like he was scolding me! This guy has a serious God complex and shouldn't be working in pain mngmt!
