seen 5 endocrinologist in my life and she is best
I clearly don’t understand the bad reviews. She’s been my endocrinologist for the last five years and I’ve never had any of the interactions that the bad you say. She’s nice and she’s caring and she tailors your diabetic situation to you personally as opposed to what is textbook. She truly does personalize medicine. I’m writing this review because I saw the bad reviews and I was shocked. This is not accurate reviews and I believe they are coming from an upset patient. She is wonderful and I’m happy that I have her on my medical team

Inexperienced
I saw Dr. Liu recently and I found her to be cold and inexperienced. She also used some insensitive wording. She can use more training in specific areas. I would not recommend

Doctor Liu was inexperienced, inconsiderate to lab history, and indirectly insulting to 12 years of previous doctors as she recommended a dangerous approach to gain a “baseline” understanding of health, which wouldnt be baseline at all, due to the long term impact of medicine. Her protocol was A + B = C thinking, which is meant for primary care, not endocrinology. She did not consider the deeper equation involved in medicines that impact multiple hormones or body systems. I was shocked by her approach, which would have caused me to vomit, have seizures, and potentially lose my job, as she told me the extreme dangers of the normal medications I take, if they were abused, to try and get me to buy into her approach. Doctors Ive known would call her prideful. I noticed how she just went by the book, which was not helpful at all to me. I left Ohio Health as a patient today and am writing a letter to the doctor who referred me to her. There was no due diligence, there was no consideration of prior labs, she wasted my time, and caused me a panic attack.

Really has a hard time connecting with patients and can be cold at times. I have been seeing her for two years and was unimpressed and felt awful after my appotinemts. Might have not been a good fit for me.....

If you value your health, please look elsewhere. In my experience, Dr Liu has little to no interest in actually treating her patients. Made me wonder why she was even a doctor. Being diagnosed with Hashimoto's and her recommendation is to "get more sleep"! Please, don't waste your time here.
