Saw Dr. Zaheer Ahmed after having an undiagnosed illness that left me with chronic pain and fatigue. I brought in a ton of notes from other providers outside of his health system to give him the every clue to try and figure out what may have been ailing me. He looked at the notes and then gave me the diagnosis of anxiety and began to tell me that I was wasting health care dollars by booking so many doctors appointments and having providers do so many tests. He instructed me to take anxiety medication and go to a therapist. I didn’t give up my search and found another doctor who listened to what I had to say and diagnosed me with a rare blood condition which would have left my organs at risk for failure if left untreated. There are plenty of fantastic providers in the area, do not settle for Dr. Zaheer Ahmed.
