Dr Vaslow explained the brain MRI so very well as he was showing it to us. He is very knowledgeable and attentive. He was not rushed and we felt like he spent ample time discussing our needs.

Great doctor. Dr. Zach listens and took his time getting to know my dad and our family. He was very good at answering our questions and I felt good asking him about all the treatments. Dr. Vaslow is a great doctor.

My brother and I were overwhelmed and unsure of exactly what to do regarding our mom’s terminal diagnosis. We wanted to help her make the right choices, but she relied on us to make final decisions. Dr. Vaslow laid out all our options like we were a team working together, in a way that we could understand, including our mom in the process. He took time to answer our questions, addressed our fears while explaining to all of us the affects of the treatment she would receive. We developed a plan, based on his knowledge, advice and support. With his help it is the first time we did not feel so alone.

This past fall, I lost my mother to brain cancer. She had a very hard battle and Dr. Vaslow helped us through all of it. My father was very reliant on him and Dr Vaslow could not have been better. He would answer our calls on the weekends and late at night. He always listened to my mother and helped our family face the sad news that she needed to go to hospice. We felt so taken care of and at ease even though we felt awful. Thank you Dr. Vaslow.

He never treated my wife with brain cancer for almost a year other than mri's to see if the tumor was growing which he said was not. Even when all symptoms seemed she was dying he did nothing but order another mri. Two weeks later she died. I was never even told she was near death but I knew from what I had read that death was imminent. If you want your loved one to live longer choose another so called doctor!!!

I would never recommend Dr. Vaslow to anyone. He treats his patients like statistics rather than individuals. We call him a "paint-by-number" doctor due to his incompetent, lazy, and apathetic level of care. If I had not been there every step of the way to advocate for my mother he would've allowed her to die much sooner than she should've and she would've had a poor quality of life. It's a tragedy that he's the only neuro-oncologist in Greensboro. I fear for the patients who put their lives in his hands.

I had a really good outcome from this neurologist. I had frequent migraines and daily tension headaches all through last year. I saw Dr. Vaslow, and now I have a migraine only once every few months and no tension headache.
