Dismissive
He didn’t seem to care about my major concerns, He was more focused on giving me a diagnoses and getting to the long term plan, than addressing ways to manage it right now.

The first physician in a long time who seemed to perform an actual physical exam. Showed concern and spent whatever time was necessary to satisfy questions/concerns and provide a plan of action. only concern of mine is that he has been hard at times to reach after the fact., But considering the time he spends with individual patients, understandable

Great visit
I was very happy with my visit to Dr. Schott. I had a few different issues and he took time to go through and explain each one to me and what my options were for treating them. He listened to me and was clear in his instructions and very informative. If I need continuing care in the future I will be happy to see Dr. Schott again.

Bad Experience
Dr. Schott was cold-hearted and didn’t appear to care at all during my interactions. All my interactions with him consisted of him staring at computer screen and he never even made eye contact with me.

I was concerned about the negative reviews about Dr. Schotte after my appointment was scheduled. However what I found was an extremely caring physician who took the necessary time to listen to me, to give appropriate input and to make the referrals that I requested. I would not hesitate to see him again and you shouldn’t either.

Dr. Schott is the worst provider I've had the displeasure of meeting (as a patient or a nurse). Rude, uncaring, arrogant, dismissive, and seemed like he would rather be anywhere else doing anything else. I was referred to him because my PT, headache specialist, and GP all thought I could benefit from injections and/or dry needling for my neck pain. Dr. Schott refused to treat me because I have EDS (a genetic connective tissue disease) and will be in pain my whole life and would need repeat treatment. I left in tears. After more PT, pain meds and muscle relaxants, massage therapy etc. doctors urged me to seek treatment again and emphasized that Dr. Schott's attitude was unacceptable. I got another referral that kicked back to Dr. Schott as I'd already seen him. I now can't see someone else without being released from HIS care. He refused. What is the harm in letting another doctor see if they agree? I just want to live my life in less pain and not be treated like a lost cause.

Waste of time to see this doctor. He did not offer any valuable advice or positive outlook. He did not listen to anything I said. The post appointment notes were incorrect. I do not value his opinion.

After seeing several Drs my husband was referred to Dr Schotte. I attended the appointment with my husband. Dr Schotte was so kind, attentive and listened to my husband. Asking many questions, reviewing all online medical records. His Diagnosis was right on he even called us a week later at 8pm to check on my husband and to refill his prescription. Dr. Schotte made a huge impact in my husbands life and mine also. A feeling of relief after getting a diagnosis means so much but also having a Dr listen means everything. Thank you Dr. Schotte

Dr. Schott wrote off symptoms in my hand including numbness and tingling to a pinched nerve at the elbow despite me telling him my pain was at the shoulder. He told me that a nerve "could not be pinched" at the shoulder, while both my OT and PT UoM later told me they thought I have a cervical nerve pinched. He refused to have me do any imagining or exam. He is extremely dismissive and basically told me that's what it is. I'll never go back to him.

After telling Dr. Schott how active of a person I was, but I had severe back pain, he offered me epidural injections. I had one & it didn't help. I saw Dr. School again and was told there was nothing that could be done for me. I ended up getting very emotional & he reluctantly offered another injection. I pushed for an MRI (I reduced myself to pretty much begging him for one). I got the results at my next appt (an L5-S1 disc herniation). He was totally different then and said "well now we have some answers." I never went to him again and ended up getting surgery from another UM doc - I am now pain free from my surgery. The reason I am writing this review is how Dr. Schott made me feel during that 2nd appt. He acted like he was annoyed I was getting emotional. I am VERY ACTIVE & you just don't tell someone there's nothing that can be done when no tests have been performed. To me he is a younger doctor & already he really can't comprehend what pain a patient is going through.

I suffered a shoulder injury while extending a 16 foot magnesium extension ladder. The pain was 8/10 and I could not move my arm. I did not want to go to a hospital ED so I called Dr. Schott's office as I'd been there a year earlier for a back injury. I knew that shoulders were not his speciality but he agreed to see me immediately. He quickly diagnosed a complete rotator cuff tear and sent me for an ultrasound which confirmed his diagnosis and I then called an orthopedic surgeon an got in right away. Dr. Schott is a kind, intelligent and well trained PM&R physician. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Schott provided a very thorough evaluation and examination. He reviewed my MRI scans with me, and pointed out all of the abnormal areas of my spine that correlated with the symptoms I'm having. He is very personable and he answered all of my questions completely.

This Dr. does not care about any patients and there well being. Matter of fact his OATH that he took to NOT put a patient in harms way is a JOKE to this Dr. he does not CARE. He straight lied to my face about telling my PCP Dr. that he thought I didn't need my pain medicine so now she taking me off of it and I am a surgical candidate. DO NOT TRUST this Dr. HE WILL PUT YOUR HEALTH AT RISK AND NOT EVEN CARE!!!! I did not get referred to see this Dr. I went on my own accord and he interfered where

If you're a woman, please don't go see him. he doesn't listen, he doesn't care. He asked me questions, I would answer, and his response to my answer never made any sense. I finally got a break in his diatribe and asserted my thoughts and he didn't acknowledge me as a person at all and couldn't care less that I wasn't being helped.

Let me just say that after a year of extreme suffering, and after a year of seeing all kinds of specialists- Dr. Schott was the only Dr. Able to find out what was wrong with me. It has been almost a year since I started treatment with him and he got me running again.. I'm a runner, running is part of who I am... I was devastated when I could barely walk. It wasn't the excruciating pain that made me feel like my life was over; it was not being able to do what I loved!! I'm free of pain and runnig
