Dr. Grinspan is not only brilliant but he is also kind and compassionate. He truly cares about his patients and works endlessly to make sure they receive the best care. His NP, Jackie is also great! I can’t recommend Dr. Grinspan enough. I would sing his praises every day. We feel blessed to have been connected to him, especially after having been established with another provider. No other doctor compares to Dr. Grinspan.

Our Son
My name is Elliot Sherer. I’m the father of a severely disabled 19 year old boy named Nicholas. Nicholas suffers from a rare, but virulent form of epilepsy known as Lennox Gastaut Syndrome, which was caused by a genetic mutation on gene GSNK2B. This ailment has led to globa developmental delay which requires that he receive 24 hr attention to his daily living needs. We recently went to see Doctor Grinspan as well as his NP Jackie Lamoff. Seen countless neurologist spoke in and out of state over the course of the past two decades and I can honestly say that I’ve never met a doctor with such an amazing bedside manner, knowledge, and ability to listen to the parent and get the necessary feedback in order to get the best possible care for their child. I know this is a very bold statement that I’m about to make, but I will make it with zero hesitation;Any parent who does not give Dr. Grinspan the opportunity to help their child is borderline negligent. That’s how amazing he is. Thanks Dr!

Unbelievable!! - Truly, one of a kind.
I’m the father of the severely disabled 18 year, old son, who suffers from attractable epilepsy. He seen countless neurologist in the past, and I can, without a doubt tell you the doctor Grinspan is far away the most caring knowledgeable practitioner in his field that I’ve ever met, and I’ve met basically every neurologist out there. Anyone who truly cares about the well-being of their child should give Dr.Grinspan a chance. He’s one of the few that actually cares and I say that because even though this may not seem like much, He’s the first neurologist I’ve ever met that actually took the time to call us back after the visit and go over what we didn’t during the actual visit. This may not seem like much, but it shows that he actually cares about the well-being of his patients which unfortunately is rare these days. For the first time in quite some time, actually have some hope for my son’s progress. He is truly one of a kind and my son is lucky to be working with him.

Fantastic and thorough
We felt so grateful to have Dr. Grinspan’s expertise in helping us diagnose why our daughter was making strange spasm gestures. He was lighthearted and calmed our nerves— yet was very thorough and meticulous in finding the root of the issue.

Dr. Grinspan is the most down to earth neurologist ever. He is kind, knowledgeable and very happy to work with other doctors. He has great resources available within Cornell which is a major plus. I would recommend him to anyone searching for a top pediatric neuro.
