I had my first visit with Dr. Fellows earlier this month. He came highly recommended by my GP doctor. I was pleasantly surprised by how much time Dr. Fellows took with me, and how thorough his questions were, regarding my overall health, not just my arthritis problems. He's truly like your 'old-fashioned' doctors, who take as much time as needed. He's highly informed and knowledgeable. After this visit, I was so impressed, that I suggested my husband see Dr. Fellows. He was equally thrilled with the thoroughness of Dr. Fellows.

I recently heard Dr. Jeffrey Fellows speak on managing arthritis and joint pain and was very favorably impressed with his knowledge regarding the subject and with his ability to clearly explain the causes and the various treatments available. After hearing his lecture, I made an appointment for him to treat chronic pain that I was experiencing in my knee and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. He listened carefully to my concerns, seemed to know exactly what to do and at this point I am pain free.

Dr. Fellows has been my rheumatologist for about three years. He has been an amazing doctor. He has always taken the time to listen to my concerns, explain to me our next course of action, and has shown me compassion while in his care. I appreciate all his hard work and commitment to my care.

Dr. Fellows is a great doctor. He takes the time to really listen to what I have to say and has helped me deal with my osteoarthritis which is extremely painful. I have other health issues which makes treating me a little challenging so he worked with my other doctors to come up with a plan. I would highly recommend him.

When the arthritis hit me I was in agony I could barley walk. An E.R. Doctor recommended I see Dr. Fellows. My first visit was all he needed to diagnosis and treat my illness. I saw him every three months for four years. As soon as I began treatment the pain went away. He was all ways monitoring my health and my medication. I felt at all times I was in god hands.

During my first visit, Dr. Fellows listened carefully and communicated clearly the path we would be taking to explore possible diagnoses and treatments, after an assortment of tests. His office kept in touch with me every step of the way. In particular, when a specialty lab made an error that took a bit of time to unwind, Dr. Fellows took the time to communicate with me and let me know the issue would be resolved, which it ultimately was. Dr. Fellows has continued to follow my progress with regular check-ins, both in office and Telehealth. His confidence, obvious expertise, and willingness to partner with me in my care was reassuring. He listens to me, I ask him questions, and we discuss results to date and recommendations for what's next. I highly recommend Dr. Fellows if you want a caring, listening, and extremely gifted doctor.

Dr. Fellows is a warm, friendly and conscientious physician. He is 100% present while he’s in the room with his patients and is able to explain everything in a thoughtful and easily understandable way. He is up to date on all the latest research and shares this with his patients. If you are looking for an excellent rheumatologist do not hesitate to work with Dr. Fellows.

Dr. Fellows is everything I was looking for in a rheumatologist. Smart, funny, knowledgeable, empathetic, encouraging and a great listener. Under his care, my arthritis significantly improved and as a side benefit, I lost 30 pounds. That weight loss was due to his kind and non judgmental sharing of information about the impact of extra weight and the benefits of reducing. It was just the motivation I needed to start eating better and to join a gym. I’m very sad that he is moving his practice. He will be very missed.

I have type 2 diabetes and also experiencing nerve pain, back pain, and arthritis for years. I found out about Dr Zachary from my primary doctor. My doctor has positive comments about him on his specialty as a Rheumatologist. I am glad that I decided to see him for my chronic pains because he is not only a good doctor but a great one indeed. He seriously listens to me and doesn’t take what I say to him for granted. He always answers all of my questions and again listens to my concerns and provides the care that I need. He clearly explains his recommended treatment so I understand completely what the treatment entails. Dr Zachary is always focus and does not rush you. He wants to make sure he gets all the information he needs to understand you. He made it very comfortable for me while I’m under his care.. He is very passionate with his patients. He is a great doctor full of energy and enthusiasm. After seeing him only for a year, I can honestly say that I am feeling better already.

I've been seeing Dr. Fellows a little over a year now for a problematic health issue that another doctor swept under the rug. Dr. Fellows was relentless in diagnosing the problem and has been equally determined in my treatment. His listening skills are excellent and he's willing to continually probe until he finds an answer. Dr. Fellows has also gone the extra mile to help find the lowest cost pharmacies for my medications. He always takes time for my questions and explains things in a way that is easy for me to understand. And at the end of each visit, he summarizes and reviews our upcoming treatment plans. Equally important, Dr. Fellows has a great sense of humor and is caring and compassionate. I couldn't ask for anything more in a physician and I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Fellows!

Dr. Fellows is an excellent, thoughtful doctor with a good “bedside manner” and a great sense of humor. He is current on the latest research in his field and educates you about your options while helping you determine the best course of action. I highly recommend Dr. Fellows! San Diego will be lucky to have him, and I will greatly miss him. If he ever comes back to the area, I will be happy to be his patient again.

I've been seen by Dr. Fellows for a challenging health problem for the last two and a half years. He is by far the best doctor I have ever had the privilege of seeing. He is very knowledgeable, very personable and easy to get along with. He listens to my concerns and really cares. Often my spouse would attend my appointments with me and he was always happy to explain everything to the both of us. I highly recommend Dr. Fellows to anyone.

I love how well Dr. Fellowes listens to me and has all kinds of therapies ready to help me. He directed me to some awesome YouTube knee workouts that have helped me immensely, as well as has found the right medication for me. He is very personable, and visits are fun. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a rheumatologist. My wife was a patient as well and benefited from his expertise.
