Great doctor, bad office
Telehealth
Love Dr. Cohen and I followed him to Northside Decatur PC but this medical billing office isn't running my visits through my insurance. So, I call and call and they tell me not to pay it or then someone does say I owe it. But no one will call my insurance and is telling me that's my responsibility. No, it's your job, you do it. Unfortunately, after seeing Dr. Cohen for many years, I need to find a new PC because I need a billing office that is competent and honest.

I hate to use last experience to define this office. I've been with them for two years for a 5 star treatment. But the last incident was so annoying, aggravating, and bad, bad, bad. I decide to leave them for other PCP. Long story short, the doctor and the nurse office kept dragging their feet to avoid answering. I suspected the doctor may be on vacation or seriously ill. But they can be straight with me, can't they? need many many emails and offices calls (this is not easy, you try it).

10/10 would recommend
Dr. Z is a fantastic physician who I would recommend to anyone/everyone looking for a holistic, compassionate, and thorough provider. When I had Covid in early March 2020, he was incredibly supportive in both traditional and non-traditional medicine options for me and really eased my physical (and mental!) symptoms. Plus, he is an incredible mushroom expert and helped me to identify a mushroom via photo in just seconds and give me practical advice on consumption. He is truly one of a kind and anyone would be lucky to see him!

Great Doctor, now in Peachtree Corners
Love Dr. Cohen. He used to be located near Oak Grove, but when it was bought out by Emory he went to practice in Peachtree Corners (an office owned by Northside). Even though it's a bit of a long drive, it's worth it for me to see a doctor who cares and listens and takes the time needed to explain things.

Dr. Cohen has a terrible virtual bedside manner. During the appointment, he was rude and did not seem to care about my symptoms. He made me feel rushed and minimized with his arrogant tone and speech. He even suggested that I would be better off going someplace else to be seen or treated. He also ranted about the way he practices medicine which was unnecessary Very condescending to say the least. I would not recommend other patients to this doctor. I would strongly suggest that he be further evaluated and receive training on his poor communication skills and terrible bedside manner!

Great first visit. Dr. Cohen's has a wonderful bedside manor. I felt very comfortable talking to him. He listened to my concerns and analyzed them fairly. He's very knowledgeable but explains information in layman's terms. I also had great friendly interactions with all office staff.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Cohen about an embarrassing lifelong issue. I mention that to express that I don't enjoy going to see a doctor about my problems, however, he has a very warm approach, so I felt comfortable speaking with him. You can tell that he has a passion for his profession and you feel it. I didn't want to write a review because I want to be able to make an appointment with him without having to wait several weeks but that's not fair to him or future patients who need his help as much as I do.

I have been seeing Dr. Cohen for over 3 years, and love him. Unfortunately, when I tried to schedule my yearly checkup, I found that Emory bought out the DeKalb Health care locations, and Dr. Cohen and the others there have moved on. They would not say where. I am trying to find where he went, so I can use him again.

Dr. Cohen is a very nice person. I had him for my two toddlers and I wellness visit. He is very attentive and he does care to listen to what you are going through with your help. Thanks to his diagnosis, I had a built-up wax removed from one of my ears.

I saw him on two separate occasions: one well visit and one sick visit. Both times he was condescending and did not address the issue I was describing.

I saw Dr. Cohen last year for my daughter's new onset epilepsy. His approach to her wellness was truly holistic. We changed a lot about our family life style to try and stabilize her condition without over-reliance on heavy drugs. It wasn't easy (especially the diet), but it was worth it. It's refreshing to see a doctor who listens...and who sees you back. Thanks, Dr. Cohen.

Dr. Cohen is extremely accessible to patients' concerns. He has a much more relaxed and patient-centered approach than many other doctors, who sometimes seem to spend more time looking at lab results than talking with the patient. He definitely takes a "whole patient" approach and makes a serious effort to create a pleasant, low-stress environment totally unlike a laboratory or a medical conveyor belt.
