Dr. Beresford made me feel very comfortable.....my lower back was killing me with pain and was sick of my life interrupted by this pain. Finally got up enough nerve to call essentia clinic in Virginia and make an appointment. Had three session of shots and the third session was the burning of the nerves in my lower back. I am writing this as today was my last session.....took longer but was out of there in 3 hrs. I am black and blue where the shots are put ice on and much better hope it work

I have battled with CRPS pain in my right hand/arm for two years now. I tried everything with other doctors, I finally chose to try the ganglion block with Dr.Beresford. I was scared it would be a horrible experience and that my pain would get worse after the fact. I was crying and shaking when it came time to start the block. Dr.Beresford and his team chatted with me and made me laugh, it calmed me down and made me more comfortable about getting a needle in my neck, haha. It went perfectly!

Dr. Beresford did an extensive review of my medical background and issues as so often physicians have found errors in records and it helps him to understand his patients. He listened to me. I mean he really listened without interrupting! I wish I could do that. Dr. Beresford is very pleasant, caring and extremely professional. I had two appointments with him and it is obvious that the entire staff with him are well trained and work together well as being very professional.

Took no interest in case. Appeared to be debilitated by ennui or condescension. Asked a few vague questions and performed a few cursory in-office manipulations without comment. Did not provide a single plausible hypothesis regarding my condition, let alone a probable diagnosis. Said nothing about my condition during the entire 20 minute visit. I left the office knowing no more than when I walked in. A profoundly demeaning and humiliating waste of time.
