Dr. Youyin Choy, MD

Dr. Choy is truly a gem and so kind, is evident that she really loves her job. I trust her completely. She is bright and to the point, as well as kind and compassionate. She is also very friendly and able to ease your anxiety(I’m a FTM and 35 years old). I highly recommend her, I’m feeling extremely lucky to have her as a physician.

I've been a patient of Dr. Choy's for over 5 years now, and I have to state that not only is she the most professional, helpful and caring doctor I have continuously seen, she had a terrific sense of comfort and not to mention a wonderful sense of humor. Going to the gynecologist can be a bit uncomfortable for a multitude of reasons, but, she has always made me feel at ease, comforted, and overall in great hands. She takes the time to ask how I am doing each time, eager to learn what I am up to in my daily life. She gives it to you straight and is honest always. I can't speak any more highly of her. I currently do not live in NYC anymore, but have driven back from Chicago specifically to have my annual exam with her as I feel she is dedicated to caring for me.

Very upset with my experience with Youyin choy and her staff. Doctor was late by 30 minutes. She was not professional at all and made me very uncomfortable. She examined me without a heads up. She wasn't listening to me. Looked like she was running late and wanted to wrap up my appointment (which she did in under ten minutes) Later, the staff in an attempt to draw blood for tests, incorrectly poked me in the wrong place on my elbow and kept navigating the needle inside my skin. When she couldn't figure it out, she sent me to another lady who then drew it correctly. This clinic gives me chills. Pls stay away from the doctor and this clinic on upper west side.

She is nice but the wait time and office staff are awful. Called four times in five days for test results - no one ever called me back - the fax machine was broken and I don't think they even knew - you can find better
