GREAT Podiatrist
I’ve been suffering with plantar fasciitis for two years. I’d seen two prior podiatrists and an orthopedic surgeon with NO relief. When I met Dr. Do for my first appointment she’s-rayed my foot, discovered the exact nature and cause of my foot and nature of my pain. She then prescribed exercises and stretches as well as the use of ice, electricity and a messaging device that within weeks made my pain disappear. It was an almost miraculous treatment plan that allows me to spend 12 hours of my feet at work with the pain almost completely gone. Her novel application of these treatments, none of which were prescribed by any other doctors allowed for an amazing recovery from my condition. I would recommend her to anyone who asked me. She’s a great podiatrist and she helped me when others did not.

I saw Dr. Yena Do because of pain at the back of my heals after playing sports. She hardly looked at my heels and didn't ask me questions. She was more concerned about plantar fasciitis than my heel pain and was recommending custom orthotics. I finally asked why are you concentrating on the bottom of my foot if my pain is at my heel? She explained that I had achilles tendinitis that's what's causing my heel pain but that I could also eventually develop plantar fasciitis. That's when I said, OK fine but let's first concentrate on my current pain which is the achilles tendinitis. That's when she quickly explained some exercises to perform daily. As an engineer I don't understand her logic.....first address my current pain and then let's talk about preventing plantar fasciitis.. Anyway, left the office not feeling confident in the treatment plan. She may be a knowledgeable doctor but she seems rushed and doesn't explain things well.

Dr. Do is incredible. I woke up at 3 AM in immense pain from an ingrown toenail and left a message for Dr. Do. When I woke up in the morning, I had two voicemails, one from Dr. Do checking in and the other from her office scheduling an appointment for that same day. Dr. Do and her entire staff were incredibly kind and professional. She spent time answering my questions both before and after the procedure, clearly laying out all of my options. I cannot recommend her enough!

I was charged $375 for a boot that Dr. Yena Do gave me for a sprained ankle. I found online that boot retails for only $79 on Amazon! That's a 5x markup. It's predatory when a healthcare provider takes advantage of their patients by charging outrageously high prices for medical equipment. I do not recommend seeing Dr. Yena Do. But if you must, DO NOT accept any medical equipment provided by her - you'll be in for a shock when the bill comes. Just buy it online from Amazon.
