Dr. Yen Wang, MD

Dr. Wang exemplifies a thorough and knowledable dermatologist. From my medical visit experience with him, not only does he identify skin cancers he is also a dermatopathologist! That alone had me sold. His extensive knowledge of the skin is also evident in the vast array of laser treatments he offers. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a doctor to entrust all of your skin issues with.

I saw Dr. Wang for a small blemish on my nose and it was thoroughly addressed, diagnosed, and treated. He is patient and kind, and explained everything in detail - better more than the dermatologists I saw in the past. I like the modern and calm style of the clinic. The check-in process is especially easy with high-tech and all electronic. The clinic has a nice view of the downtown. I have not seen such stunning views in other derm or doctor’s office at all. Highly recommend!

Dr. Wang is one of the nicest dermatologists I've met and answered all of my list of questions. He is hilarious and his DTLA office and the view from there is immaculate. Their moisturizer and day cream also made my skin feel like silk. Would highly recommend giving this place a try.

Dr James Wang and the staff at Metropolis dermatology are all amazing. The office space is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Dr James Wang is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I will definitely be back.

I love the office and Dr Wang. The office is super modern and has a modern beautiful design. Dr Wang is very attentive and efficient. I had dark spots on my face and back that he lasered off and finished with an overall face laser treatment that made my mid-40's skin glow while being completely natural. It's been 3 weeks now and I can still the results and I am very happy with it.

Dr. Wang and the team at Metropolis dermatology are the best! I trust Dr. Wang wholeheartedly. He went to Harvard Medical School and is the smartest board certified dermatologist I know. From autoimmune skin conditions, to stubborn acne, or body tightening and lasers, he has you covered. I have known him for over 3 years and trust him with my skincare needs. His new office is the “FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH!” He has ALL of the new lasers and body tightening machines and offers fillers and anti-wrinkle injections that will make you look 10yrs younger than when you walked in. Location is prime!! Located in the hip and hot area of downtown LA, with panoramic views of the city and gorgeous wall art, you can escape from the hustle and bustle into a chic and modern space! Parking is easy and plentiful The office manager, Marissa is so helpful and the nurse Samantha is very knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Wang is a family man and great with babies and kids too!

Dr. Wang took his time during my visit, making sure he answered all of my questions. I was a little hesitant since this was my first dermatology appointment regarding some moles I've had for a while but always put off. Nonetheless he was very thorough with explaining all the options I had to take care of these moles. I have a follow up appointment soon and I look forward to going back to his beautiful office.

I sought a cosmetic consult and Dr. Wang was very honest and helpful. He told me to start conservatively to see how my skin responds, instead of trying to sell me a number of unnecessary treatments. He was very knowledgeable and gracious. I love how my skin looks now.

I went to Dr Wang for a burn on my forearm that wasn't healing . He treated the wound & speeded up the healing but then lasered it, which helped to prevent a huge scar. I went back for one more laser treatment & magically the scar is gone. I am excited about the new office - I really appreciated how he was able to see me immediately, really cared about my concerns & resolved the problem quickly & easily - now other people will get to experience that and his great bedside manner as well.

Dr. Wang is the best Dermatologist I've seen in LA. He not only has an amazing pedigree, but he is also super nice and accommodating. I've had dermatologists cut me off when I tried to bring up too many issues, but Dr. Wang addressed them all during our visit and performed procedures too. He's a great find.

Dr. Wang was amazing! I visited him once in Glendale on a Saturday and also in El Segundo on a Friday. Both times, I was seen on time, my questions were answered, and he went the extra step of finding the right free samples for me. He made sure the was follow-up on some of my issues, but he also was able to remove two bothersome moles for me at the same visit so I wouldn't have to make another visit for that issue. At my second visit, he did my Botox and lip filler, which looked great!
