Dr. Yekaterina Brown, DO

Dr. Brown is a Professional. Courteous and obnoxiously smart. Always asks the right questions and always has an answer. WVU should be proud to have this kind of doctor on their payroll. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone because of all the dug abusers out there. But to the patients who need an exemplary primary care physician, I do recommend Dr. Kate Brown.

The pa is very rude and if you ask for a follow up with dr. They put you off or don't even schedule you one.

She was very rude. I asked her for a low cholesterol diet and she told me to google it ! Did not exam me. Since she has affiliated with WVU, she is strictly concerned about getting your money. I have never been treated like this before from a doctor. No empathy, cold , matter of fact.

I recently moved from North Carolina back to WV and was very pleased to find such progressive doctor and family medicine office overall. Definitely exceeded my expectations already during multiple visits!

She was very interruptive and only allowed 2 HEALTH QUESTIONS/TOPICS per visit. When I told her I had previous diagnoses from previous doctors, she laughed in my face and told me I had nothing wrong with me. She took me off 3 of my meds AT THE FIRST VISIT. She doesn’t listen well; she would interrupt me or absolutely ignore comments I had said. She was very rushed and rude. Because of side effects from a certain medication I was prescribed,I have gained 70 lbs in THREE MONTHS. Find any other dr!

Great office! Wonderful staff! Outstanding doctor! I would definitely recommend Brown Family Practice to all my family members and friends. My previous doc never did yearly physicals on me or any preventative tests. Dr. Brown is all about preventative care. Not only she saved me money on lab tests, but she diagnosed chronic conditions that I have, which should of been treated years ago by my old doc.

What a great doctor’s office! Dr. Brown and her assistants are awesome! I never had such high quality service in any doctor’s office before. The office is always clean and no clutter, comfortable patient rooms. Staff is fabulous. Dr. Brown and her assistants take the time to explain findings in terms that are understandable by anyone. They don’t shove you out of the door, they make sure that you understand diagnosis.

I recently went to Brown Family practice to see Dr Brown. I have never met more caring doctor. She explained everything what needs to be done and even gave me several samples of my medication. She is willing to listen to her patients. I was so pleased with my visit. I'm now a devoted patient of Dr Brown. I can't stop bragging about her to all my friends!

My first experience I was unsure about her but after I realized she had my best interest I knew she was the doctor for me. She is kind and respectful and her staff are very friendly!

Kudos to Dr. Brown for being such a good doctor! I drive 1 hour to see her for my appointments. She always spends a lot of time explaining my conditions and answering most of my questions. Has excellent diagnostic skills and all specialists that I go to have only positive to say about her!

I have been going for 2 years now. I have many health issues. But she cant figure anything out. I ask her what about this or that she replys "i dont even know what that is" or if I ask about a medication she dont know what it is. I have specialist and they say she should be able to treat you for that and when i tell her what they say she gets irritated and defensive. I just dont get her. So disappointing.

She is very caring and thorough. She listened to your complaints and does her best to find the problem. Because of her we found that my cancer had reoccured and began treatment early. I highly recommend her. Also her staff are friendly and treat you with respect.

Finally a doctor who listens! I am relatively new patient of DR. Brown, was seeing her for about 11 months now. Half of my family established with her for past year too. Prompt recognition of specialst requiring attention problems. Fast referrals. Great diagnostic skills. Such a relief to find this doctor. I feel really welcomed at this office , will definitely come back. A really rare find!

Excellent doctor!!! I have been coming to see Dr. Brown for 5 years now and I can't be more satisfied. Dr. Brown is a very knowledgeable, thorough, professional, and caring physician. Her office and office staff are very welcoming, basically like a family. I have some chronic health issues and Dr. Brown was always been attentive to all my problems, and even requests for extra examinations and labs. If I have to call for prescription refills, it gets done most of the time the same or next day.

I've been with Dr Brown since she first opened her practice. She is a wonderful Doctor and her staff is fabulous! One of the very best in our valley. Caring, down to earth, intelligent, and funny! If you are looking for a doctor or on the fence about switching, do yourself a favor and pick Brown Family practice! Tell them Jacquie sent you!

I know DR. Brown for past 5 years, since she opened her practice. She is a great doctor! She solved a lot of my medical problems, which even specialists were not able to identify. Very thorough and attentive! I am myself is a nurse and seen many doctors during my career, also switched many doctors before I found DR. Brown and I am NOT planning to switch any more! Wait time in the office anywhere from 5 to 15 min. can get appointment same or next day. Her staff is very polite and helpful.
