Superb.
Given my family history I was certain that I had essential tremors, but I appreciated that Dr. Phillips tested me to check for that against Parkinson's disease. Over the next hour she discussed the possible progress of the ailment, possible treatments that exist, and gave me a recommendation for a drug to try with a call-back in 6 months. She made it clear to me that I could contact her at any time regarding the results of the drug (and any further questions I might have), and made known that should it not work out, focused ultrasound might be a possibility in the future.I found her to be thoughtful, a careful listener, and her advice was clear and cogent. She has a friendly, kind demeanor and I would recommend her highly.

COMPASSION . . . NO ! ! !
My partner is having problems with memory. She waited four months for an opportunity to see Dr Phillips and when the time finally came, she had a memory lapse and we ended up being five minutes past the limit for late show up. No way to get any understanding from Phillips staff. If you are expecting any compassion from Phillips, forget it. It won't happen !

Life saver
Dr. Phillips came to my rescue after I was taken to the ER unable to walk. She discovered that my anti-seizure medication had spiked to a near lethal level of toxicity, so she switched me to a safer medication and my health and mobility has been steadily improving. She was very patient and clear in explaining my condition and what I could expect. I feel very fortunate to be under her care.

Completely dismissed my concerns
Worst Dr I’ve ever seen. She walked in and, without even looking at the neuro symptoms in my chart, told me that she could tell that I had didn’t have any neurological problems. I insisted on getting an MRI of the brain because of the strange cognitive impairments I had begun experiencing. After looking me over and getting right up in my face, she started to ask me “if I was happy with….” then she looked over the top of my head and asked my HUSBAND if “he felt my psychiatrist was using the right treatment.” My husband demanded the test be ordered and she said fine but I don’t need one. On her way out she again told my husband that he should ask my psychiatrist for more aggressive treatment. I’ve never wanted to slap someone so hard in the face before. I tell engine DO NOT go to her. It turns out I’m suffering from early dementia. Just because I look fine doesn’t mean everything inside is fine.

Dr. Phillip is very nice and totally thoughtful of her patient. She puts their needs first and tries to make sure they have best care that can be given. She listens and gives advice but allows the patient to direct their treatment.

Very nice and knowledgeable doctor. It was a long wait to get the appointment about 3 months. Exam room was clean. Her nurse was friendly. The front desk lady forgot to check me in so I waited for half hour. They were real apologetic and the doctor still saw me for almost an hour and answered all my questions. I recommend Dr. Philips and will be returning.

I don't normally take surveys but I saw this post on the web and could not help but let everyone know how absolutely wonderful, Dr. Yanni Philips was. She is the best dr that I ever had. I have myoclonus epilepsy. She was smart, thorough, spent more than an hour answering all my questions. She advised me on pregnancy and what seizure medicines are safe, what vitamins to take even before I knew I was pregnant. I have a healthy baby boy and have been seizure fee. I am so grateful for Dr. Philips.
