I can't say enough amazing things about the staff at UM Health; they are wonderful. As for Dr. Liu, I left his office in tears. I have been suffering from ear pressure that has affected my hearing for 5 months. Dr. Liu dismissed my laundry list of symptoms that all point to a clogged eustachian tube. Then he said if I don't believe his diagnosis then I should see a psychologist instead. Unlike his staff, Dr. Liu lacks compassion and his comments were rude and unprofessional.

I presented to Dr. Liu a history of severe tinnitus, unbearable ear pressure and fast increasing hearing loss. His response was " get a hearing aid" I insisted in performing imaging of my ear in question, Dr. Lieu immediately dismissed my concern of cancer or to our without any foundation. Finally I insisted and he ordered an MRI of my ear which revealed a lesion and suspected tumor. DO NOT GO SEE THIS DOCTOR, HIS RECOMMENDATION WAS " GET A HEARING AID"
