Dr. Xuan Wu, MD

I had an EMG test with her . After the first part of the test, I apparently had an anxiety attack and I did not know what I was having . She walked in while I am having the attack . She said to me “ once you are done with the attack, come on the table to finish the second part of the test”. She did not even cared if I could breath and if this is my first time having this or if I am ok to continue the test. Just horrible

After working in medicine for 40 yrs, I found Dr Wu to be frank and thorough with reviewing my history and making recommendations. Would recommend

She said my MRI appeared normal despite radiologist reports saying i had herniated discs, compressed nerves, and all sorts of issues. Then her office lost or destroyed my MRI. They couldn’t tell me what happened to it. Total waste of time

Caring and attentive neurologist. Dr. Wu takes the needed time to fully assess and address any conditions and concerns. Highly recommended.

Three day trip to get to Virginia Mason in Seattle from where I live, and while the staff were all very helpful, her communication was terrible. She had no interest in reported symptoms that have become terrifying, and reduced the whole encounter to "do you have stenosis? No, you do not have stenosis." Flat affect, no compassion.

Absolutely the worst doctor I’ve ever seen! Please run very far if you get referred to her. I can not empathize just how terrible she really is! Please do not see this quack of a doctor! Virginia Mason should be ashamed for employeeing her!

Horrible worst experience ever. Did not take any time to figure out how to help. A family member of mine could not walk and she said this is all in your head see a shrink. Scary this doctor is still in practice.

Dr. Wu is another one of those doctors who gives up on you too easily. She makes her opinion about you based on the reports of other doctors and not what her instincts say about you. She read one normal test for a family member of mine and then labeled all of her symptoms psychological without trying to rule out any other diseases. Please be careful visiting her, she will not take the time to figure out whats wrong with you.

Worse doctor I have ever seen in my life , I am fatigue severally and I know this is a physical situation and wanted my brain fully checked out , she right out of the get go was stating I had depression and would not listen to me at all I practical begged for a MRI and she said it would not help , it was insane dealing with her , I was very unhappy with this so called doctor , it was like she had a issue somewhere else , something's wrong with her I can't say but look elsewhere you'll be sorry
