Dr. Xiaoping Liu, MD

Dr. Liu has zero compassion for her patients and their feelings. She was not even in my first 2 meetings, I met with residents who misdiagnosed me instead. After I started zoom meetings with her, she completely invalidated every feeling and thought I shared with her. When I requested a re-evaluation, she told me she needed to speak with a family member to validate a proper diagnosis. She prescribed me with a medication that, after research, was not necessary for me to take, and very bad side effects. When I told her I did not feel comfortable taking them, she once again invalidated my feelings. I have left her care and am now back to square one on trying to get the proper help I need. I would not recommend her to anyone who needs actual help. I understand she is a doctor, but she works in the mental health field, and she has zero compassion for her patients. When I requested to see another doctor, I was told I could only see her or I can see a psych outside of HMH. Horrible!

Her inability to understand a complex diagnosis is shameful. She asked family members for drug options as she was not familiar with NMS. This was frightening. She does not return calls nor shows any empathy. Has absolutely no ability to communicate with patients. Her failure landed our loved one in the hospital after two weeks of her guessing games.
