My daughter's baby passed during her 5th month of pregnancy. The doctor started a PIT drip on a Thursday and when he stopped in Saturday morning, he decided the process was taking too long. We later discovered he was afraid her delivery would interrupt his birthday party. IN THE HOSPITAL ROOM, with no sedation or numbing meds, he attempted to remove the baby, limb by limb, while my daughter was awake. I was present as my son-in-law couldn't handle the situation. My daughter didn't make a sound except to squeeze my hand and mouth "MOM," while her tears fell. I finally stopped the procedure and demanded he take her to OR for sedation and a humane procedure. I could tell the attending nurse approved of my request by the look she gave me as well as the squeeze of her hand. This doctor lacks compassion and professionalism.
