Skilled surgeon
I just had my 4 year checkup with Dr Polen and am so pleased. She performed a lumpectomy and have had a clean bill of health every since. Additionally, the scar has healed beautifully as a line just like she said it would. I am forever grateful and highly recommend her if you are looking for a skilled surgeon.

Does her job
My GYN referred me to Dr Polen because I had an abnormal finding on my recent mammogram. The radiologist didn't explain much but Dr Polen clarified things so at least now I know what we are monitoring and why.

Dr. Polen is incredible. I have been to hundreds of doctors over the years and had a complicated history. She reviewed my entire chart while in the office (something no other specialist had done). She focused on the whole picture, rather than just her specialty and actually seemed interested in helping me and listening to how I ended up in her office. She took the time to explain everything fully including past tests. She is kind and compassionate and incredibly intelligent. She follow's up promptly with any test results and I trust her fully.

I am cancer free now! Dr Polen did my lumpectomy and lymph node biopsy in JAN 2020 and I finally completed my radiation treatment with Dr Schrieber due to COVID19. Everything went smoothly. I can finally breathe now (with a mask on)

I have been going to Dr Polen for years. She did my lumpectomy in 2014 and so far so good! I just sent my younger sister to her for closer monitoring because I am worried about her now!

Professional. I came to her for a second opinion from St Barnabas. She added genetic testing which the other doctor forgot about. Not going back to St. Barnabas!

Can't say enough.. Excellent bedside manner and really listens. Gives you all your options. Had a biopsy with her and didn't feel a thing. Never made me feel silly about my fears or questions. Great doctor.
