My eReview
I picked Wil because he had better credentials than the average Kaiser doctor. UC Berkley Undergrad and UCSF Med School . He looks like he just got out of college so I was surprised he had over 25 years of experience when we first met. Wil is a good listener and I feel like I am making progress with him that my last doctor. Sessions go by fast and wish they were a bit longer. Wil is very knowledgeable and technical. He really enjoys the field which makes me feel more confident about him.

poor experience
Telehealth
Poor listener. No patience. Poor bedside manner. Doesn't listen to patient's whole background before diagnosing. Focused attention towards treatment of symptoms long in remission and gives advice based on anchoring bias before learning about current symptoms. Really felt like he cared more about the data than the patient. Became condescending when I didn't give him a direct yes or no to what I believed was an oversimplified question so he can feed into his data. Upon which, he doubled down that the statement is completely true and then immediately told me to study mindfulness despite me practicing 3 years of zen meditation. He might have known this if he took the time to have a conversation as opposed to hastily advising solely based on brash assumptions and rigid surveys. Finally he told me he doesn't respond to emails, which every doctor in the organization has done and is encouraged by the firm, and if I have any questions, redirect it to his staff. Better suited as a scientist.

I met with him one time and he criticized me for being on a medication I have taken for many years which works. He made the decision to take me off of it and it has been a miserable time ever since. I did not even agree to this.
