Dr. Wester and his staff is wonderful.
I had a total knee replacement 6 weeks ago, and I’m very happy how good the recovery has been. Dr. Wester took time at my first visit to explain everything and his staff was great making all the appointments to work around my work schedule. Also I was really happy with the nurses at the hospital and the great care that I had.

Failed ACL Reconstruction
Good bedside manner. Appeared knowledgeable BUT the ACL reconstruction he performed failed due to poor surgical method (per two other orthopedic surgeons). The pain was also ridiculous. Now having to go through a two part repair which entails a clean out with bone grafts then another ACL reconstruction. DO NOT go to this doctor for knee surgery.

Dr. Wester provided a hip replacement surgery for me, correcting damage incurred from a previous horseback riding accident. I experienced no pain from this surgery. I was up and walking with a walker within a day. I was walking with a cane within 2 weeks. Now, 40 days after surgery, I don't even need a cane. Dr. Wester's work is absolutely exemplary. I am so pleased. A life without pain is a really big deal.

After waiting for 5 months an as a high risk patient I found dr. Wester with very little compassion, and very curt. As I had only meet him once the day of my apt. And there were many other factors, I found him to be very rude and curt. He is not on the side of his patients.I was very disappointed on the day of mysurgery that he accused me of not following a plan that had been in place so as I could have my surgery, which was not true, he do not seem to put his patients first. I was dismissed.

I had previously been diagnosed with avascular necrosis of femoral head. I seen this doctor once. He showed me an xray from his office which looked bogus. He told me the bone is perfect, nothing wrong. I never went back. I will have surgery next month elsewhere due to that "perfect" bone being completely gone, due to hip dysplasia. Wester barely gave me any time. Before going to him, i already had the avascular necrosis diagnosis, he knew this and said the bone was perfect.
