Real therapy!
If you want real therapy, and want to work to resolve your issues, without piling on more and more medications, I strongly recommend Dr Tatomer. He has acquired a great amount of wisdom in his years of practice. He may increase your medication, but he only does so after much consideration. I have found that his method of therapy brought me great confidence, clear logical thinking, and the tools to cope with daily life. This was torn down by another insurance companies demand that I see their doctors. It got to the point that I went back to Doctor Tatomer, to restore the progress out of pocket. I have only seen him once since returning. This will be quite a process, as I am starting from square one again, and taking more meds than at anytime in my life.

He is unethical and unprofessional. My aunt was very sick. She left him money in her will and he took it. I personally find it disgusting that he would take it for himself. He knows that she was not healthy and she never did improve under his watch. She was on so many types of drugs we couldn’t keep track. He probably couldn’t keep track. Why should he care.

I am a former patient of Doctor Tatomer. He is a very good listener who tries to help you sort through problems in a way that's more than just "you need to find medicine" that some doctors try to do. He is very good at helping you make sense of what you're feeling and doesn't try to belittle anything you experience while still helping put things in perspective. I would recommend him to anyone looking for somebody to both talk with and get medicine from.

See I differ in my opinion on Dr. Tatomer than most. He saw me as an adolescent, and when I wasn't improving he unloaded me onto the San Mateo County Mental Health System. If your not good for business than your not good for him. He is a very intelligent man, and he realizes that if he wants to make a good living for him, and his family he needs to keep his reputation spotless ( don't rock the boat). So in closing he is not your stand by me type of guy.
