Good surgeon for orthopedic issues
My son broke his leg and ankle playing basketball a few years ago. The ankle was the main concern. Dr. Stewart scheduled surgery quickly (after swelling went down). He had some residual pain after the fact and Dr. Stewart said his ankle wasn't the problem. He has very flat feet and he suggested he see a foot dr. My son got inserts for his shoes and the pain subsided. My son hasn't had any issues with his ankle or leg since then. His bedside manner is very direct and he doesn't sugar coat things. Some may find that off putting. I feel he did a good job on my son's surgery and I would refer others to him.

He did a knee procedure that had not improved in two years. He did several knee injections to no avail. When I came to a post surgical visit with written prepared questions, his demeanor became curt and impatient. He said he had done this procedure on athletes who were back in the court in 3 months. I was older and fat before the surgery. I continue to go for pain management after two years. Next step is knee replacement but with someone else.

I have had 3 major knee surgeries with Dr. Stewart. He is awesome. Frank and forthright. He works with all modalities to get you running again. I love his demeanor. I had a knee surgery from another Dr and had issues for months When Dr Stewart worked on me, in a few days I was off and running. When I leave am email,he always responds

This office is inept and their billing office will lie to you to get what they want. I highly suggest you avoid them at all costs. My finger still hurts and looks terrible after what should have been a straightforward procedure. They lost my information and refused to do much of anything to help- no credit monitoring or repair. There are other options.Read your reviews, do your research and do not become complacent with your health. When dealing with their billing office take copious notes, record the calls and know that you've been told a huge lie. My finger still hurts after seeying Dr Stewart and won't bend and they are now coming after money almost 5 years later when they were supposed to wipe my balance. I WILL NEVER USE THIS CLINIC AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT MY ABYSMAL AND DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE! PATIENT BEWARE!

Dr. Stewart was a breath of fresh air. He is honest and compassionate and treated me with respect even though I have never been the athletic type (despite what others may have said). He will not recommend treatments trying this and that, treating you like a guinea pig, while he tries to figure out what you need. He cares about his patients and will give them the help they need.

Don't bother trying to see this guy if you're not an athlete. If you have fat he is not a fan. I was passed off to him by someone who couldn't help me and Dr. Stewart passed me off yet again to someone who couldn't help me. The last doctor was unable to help orthopedic patients. When I mentioned that Dr. STEWART was an orthopedist they said, thats okay. I'll find you a good doctor. I hope so.
