When I was 15, I had a stroke, I lived an hour from Boston and I was fortunate enough to get all my treatments in Boston. I was told (and felt at that time) that those doctors are the best of the best. We moved to the White Mountains of NH 25 years ago. It has been very discouraging when it comes to medical treatment in my case. Then I met Dr. Schanlaber last year. He completely restored my faith in the medical field in the North Country!!! In my opinion HE IS THE BEST OF BEST!!
