Bring food, meds and a blanket
Beautiful offices, great staff and professional. BUT even in emergency situation you will wait and wait and wait (approximately 3 hours). Be sure to bring any medications, food and drink you may need within a 4-6 hour period. I would suggest a warm blanket. If a procedure is done, you will not receive a summary and written instructions for your recovery, as with EVERY other physician and hospital. Can’t think of a situation where your eyes would not be dilated, but you will not be told in advance that this will happen. Bring someone with you. Bring your sun glasses for you drive home because he doesn’t even provide protective lenses after dilation. The only thing he provides is expertise in his procedures and his field.

I saw Dr. Rosenthal after another doctor told me I had to live with my eye condition until I would need a major eye surgeon. I went to see Dr Rosenthal who seemed very concerned about me and wanted to avoid that surgery. Although I had to go to another specialist, he continued to check on me and saw that I was taken care of. I found Dr Rosenthal to care about his patients even when it inconvenienced him. He stayed late to see me on a couple of different occasions. Highly recommend him. Very impressed.

I loved my experience with Dr. Rosenthal. He was very kind, explained everything to me, and was very reassuring when I was having a scary change in my vision. He coordinated communication with my doctor that day and followed up with my care.

Outstanding doctor, his surgical skills successfully reversed severe eye sight conditions for both my husband and father. Efficient in all aspects of his practice, communicates well and we consider trustworthy. Seldom will I rave about a doctor, however Dr Rosenthal has proven to be the right solution when our family desperately needed expert care to save our precious eye sight.
