Dr. William Paxton, MD

I went to Dr. Paxton for almost 20 yrs., he left the practice, so I started a search, don't want to go to another Nephrologist only Dr. Paxton. When they leave, Drs. can't say where they are for a yr. It is a shame! I finally found him at Davita, Lawrenceville, Ga. However when I called she said he wasn't there any longer, she did say I see him every now & then, asked for my name. I told her that my brother was at NGHS, his kidney functions normal when he went there, but his Creatnine went to a 5+, put a shunt in his cheek, ICU, however they were able to bring it down, shortly after realeased him, 2 days later hospital, this time Northside, Lawrenceville, Dr. Paxton got his kidney functions to normal. I asked my primary care Dr., who is a family practice Dr. to monitor my kidneys & if there is a change, then go to a kidney doctor, I begged, He finally agreed, I'm hoping Dr. Paxton will eventually start a new practice. Don't trust any other Nephrologist at this time.

Where is Dr. Paxton? He has left Ga. Nephrology. ANYONE KNOW WHERE HE IS LOCATED NOW AS OF JAN, 2022. GREAT DOCTOR!

I've been seeing Dr. Paxton for about 7 years as a dialysis patient. Out of all the doctors I have seen over the years, he's the best one I've had. He has a great bedside manner, he is compassionate and he takes as long as necessary to listen and go into detail about what he's doing.
