Saved my wife’s life
Because of this man and his willingness to explore additional treatments above the “standards” set by the Mayo, I have the privilege to continue having my wife by my side each day. Without a doubt, the swift actions by Dr. Newberry and the entire team of physicians and nurses, are what said my wife from the cancer taking her. Thank you just isn’t enough, it’s impossible to put my gratitude into words. Who would think at just 32 my beautiful wife would be diagnosed with an aggressive form of triple negative breast cancer? Here we are, five years later and happily enjoying a cancer free life, all because of this man, his staff, and the entire team of physicians that worked diligently to ensure today would come!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Newberry. He is warm and easy to talk to, unusual in the oncology world. He’s straight forward and explains things well, very welcome when faced with something so scary as cancer. I credit him with saving my life, very long story but true. After a 5 year battle I have had clean scans for a year. I highly recommend Dr Newberry.

As a Oncology/Hematology patient you want to know that to know that you can count of your provider. Dr. Newberry is an amazing doctor. He takes the time to answers your questions and makes you feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel. From the moment you walk into the office until the moment you walk out you feel confident in the treatment/services you are being provided. You never feel rushed during the appointment and you leave with a greater understanding than what you came in with. I highly recommend Dr. Newberry. You can trust that you are in good hands.

Does not respond to questions. Gives zero support to families. I have begged his staff for him to call, send reports, offered to pay for appointment to discuss family and I am HPOA. So disappointed. Shame on him!!!

I am EXTREMELY grateful for Dr. Newberry, as he treated me for breast cancer (at age 32) and wasted no time in gaining insurance authorization and approval for my chosen treatment plan, along with getting me scheduled for my first chemo to begin. I am SO thankful for not only his urgency but also his genuine concern, during the most terrifying period of my life. He showed compassion and empathy when appropriate, while offering unwavering optimism that we could beat it together! Well, guess what? We did it! I am here celebrating FIVE YEARS of being CANCER FREE and I owe a huge part of that to Dr. Marcus Newberry, MD!!! If you are contemplating your choices for cancer care, you cannot go wrong with Dr. Newberry, as he comes highly recommended by both my family and friends.

I would give him a zero. 1-He resented my going for a 2nd opinion on my Mesothelioma cancer. 2-Then, he announced, when I saw him prior to chemo- (a requirement), "I'm giving up my lunch hour to see you!!" 3- I came in with a bad reaction to an experimental Chemo drug he gave me, & he said he'd never heard of my reaction. As soon as I got to my car, I googled the name of the drug & reactions. The 1st one listed, was my sympton.
