I saw him on a Friday, my telehealth appt was at 3:15 - he got on at 4:15. He changed my med. dose while on the phone with him. I didn't have a chance to call my pharmacy to check if they had it in stock. He gave me the option of taking 30mg 2x a day or 20mg 3x a day. I said I would try 30. It's now Monday &My pharmacy is still out of 30mg until the end of the month, it's only the 3rd. They do have enough 20mg to do 3x a day. I called the office & they told me I couldn't get that changed unless I scheduled another appointment with him. I just saw him not even a full business day ago. Why should I have to pay again for something that was just discussed. I've already been out of my med. for 2 days now. it's going to be over another 24 hours before he can see me & who knows if the pharmacy will still have them at that point, then I'd be out another copay. This is not fair. I have to pay again just for him to click send on something. After 6 years it might be time to find a new Dr. :(

All about the money
This guy doesn't care about you as much as he does about getting paid. He'll try to Nickle and dime you by treating your health ala carte style. Over books so you'll be waiting an hour to see him. Waited an our the first in person visit and over 30mins for a telehealth appt. Oh and if he never shows you'll still get charged.

BRILLIANT MIND
Telehealth
Possibly the most intelligent doctor I've ever met. Perfectly able to multi-task. He hears ever word you say while he is diagnosing & researching. He will consider alternative treatments to your needs which most MD's won't. The specialists he refers the patient to are usually excellent.

Literally the least professional and considerate experience l've ever had. Don't go here unless you've got time to waste and money to spend. I've been his patient for about two years now, he averages over an hour late for every appointment. Most recently Doctor Nesbit wrote a new prescription for me for some extremely important mental health meds and when I went to fill it my insurance wouldn't cover it. I called them to explain the problem and the front desk staff lied to me and said they'd completed it. I discovered they had not done that at all when I asked the pharmacy how long l'd be waiting. So, they straight up lied. I called back and explained again what I needed and was told they'd only re-write the prescription if I paid them a $25 fee. On top of the appointment fee I already paid and paying for the medicine it's self. I guess they're punishing people for not understanding what medicine their insurance will cover. So now I'm forced to either pay them or pay out of pocket. Cherry on top is when I went to get my meds the second time, they’d changed the prescription back to my old one and are still trying to charge me the $25 fee for resending it. So veah. a areat place if vou wanna be charaed extra extra fees you literally couldn't have done anything to prevent, wait for hours to see him and also never see him in person. He's changed my last three in person appointments to be virtual even though l've been trying to schedule a physical and bloodwork since I had my kid OVER A YEAR AGO. If you wanna go further back we can talk about how when I was pregnant he sent me for a bunch of extensive labs because he said my respiration levels were too high and it could be a sign I had kidney problems. Saw my OBG and she asked why l'd done those tests. Then she laughed and said I was fine and that my level was higher because I was pregnant. Which he knew and was extremely aware of. So that was about $300 they cost me :) Needless to say I'll be looking for a new doctor.

Wait times are over an hour. 3 hrs last time I went, and 4 ahead of me were also waiting. They would not reschedule within a month.

Amazing Doctor
When I moved to Tulsa, OK, in February 2019; I needed a PCP. Doctor Nesbit's office, at that time, was just around the corner from where I lived. I was planning to check him out and if I needed to, I would find another PCP. I have a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), coupled with left side limitations; not making me your typical patient. He made me extremely comfortable as I explained my history, and we worked out a treatment plan. I scheduled a follow up for the next week; in which he had familiarized himself with understanding how my unique needs in which I may present. I cannot imagine going to another doctor for my care!

My husband saw Dr. Nesbit on the recommendation of a friend. We both found him to be quite thorough in his history taking, but he had absolutely no people skills. Never once looked us in the eye. I'm sure he is very knowlegdable, but when you are not feeling well, you want someone that shows some measure of compassion. Probably won't continue as a patient.

Dr. Nesbit is a Dr. That can be trusted to properly Diagnose and treat a human. Not like a lot of other Dr.'s who blow into an exam room like their hair is on fire and out just as quick. Assembly line medicine is not good for anyone except a Dr. That wants to see 50-60 patients a day. Dr. Nesbit and his Nurse Katy take time to ask questions and listen to the answer. The whole staff at Utica Park South seem to care. If I could give Doc Nesbit 10 stars, I would.

I had a fusion and spinal decompression (both at 2 levels) 1yr ago. I have been to several pain drs and all they did was toss meds at me and order every injection under the sun. After I refused injections they'd no longer see me. I happened to find dr nesbit due to my family dr leaving his clinic. Dr. Nesbit has ordered physical therapy, osteopathic therapy and much more. He's the first dr to order any therapy. His nurse called to checkon me even! He's a great dr!

I saw Dr. Nesbit because my doctor was on leave. After sharing little of my concerns and him getting little information, he concluded the problem is what he wanted it to be. He gets lab work done and of course that isn't the problem, but he is going to go ahead and prescribe supplements. That's not how you treat illness. And I have no insurance, so hundreds later and no answers. Dr. Nesbit basically talked and came up with a theory that was proven wrong.
