Glad to have him as a PCP
My husband was assigned to Dr. McDonald when his previous PCP left the practice. I went with him to a couple of appointments and was impressed with his thoroughness. He also has a nice manner about him and took the time to listen. My husband, who is hard to please, also really likes him.

He was patient and helped me to understand I had high blood pressure by suggesting I get a cuff and check it daily and he was right but let me see it myself.

Excellent
I started seeing Dr McDonald over 5 years ago when my primary physician retired. He is very thorough and reads your entire file before seeing you. History of your past illnesses are very important. I like Dr McDonald SO much I referred my whole family. They are equally pleased with him.

Dr. McDonald had a cold and so couldn't examine me. If you're sick, reschedule or find someone to cover for you. Instead, he spent my appointment trying to push a series of medications and try to run irrelevant tests based on medical history from 20+ years ago. He also tried referring me to half a dozen specialists. If you want a sketchy doctor looking to line his pockets and waste your time, this is your guy.

Dr. McDonald is wonderful. He clearly looks at the whole person as well as at symptoms and is very thorough. He responds quickly to communication and answers questions completely. Dr. McDonald has seen me through various stressful medical situations and I have always felt safe and looked after. He seems to communicate well with other providers, which definitely helps with coordination of care. I highly recommend him.
