Dr. William Lyles, MD

I have been under Dr Lyles care for several years with PBC, having regular ultrasounds, bloodwork, office visits, colonosopies, & endoscopies. I usually saw one of his PA'S. After the 1st couple of years, they quit physically examining my abdomen even if I had a complaint of pain. They quit providing copies of bloodwork & scans. It would take several days to respond to my voicemails. I had an office visit Jan 2025 & told the PA I was feeling gassy & bloated & had pain in upper right quadrant of my abdomen. She gave me information on what foods to avoid. They said bloodwork was normal. I had a regularly scheduled ultrasound early February 2025 & was told it was 'stable'. I asked how that was possible. I was continuing to have pain, no appetite, losing weight. Dr Lyles ordered a ct scan which she set up for March 6! I ended up in ER February 27th & got the much needed ct scan. Preliminary diagnosis - pancreatic cancer.
