This provider has forgotten why he went into medicine. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and childlike behavior as I did with this provider. I would NOT feel safe having this provider working on me in the ER

Dr. Loker is a stellar ER Doctor, and I am speaking from a plethora of experience. I have seen doctor Loker twice now, and it likely will not be the last. OHSU/Tuality is not the best facility I have ever been to, but Dr. Loker is one of the best doctors I have been to. As soon as I hit the exam room, he was there to introduce himself both times. Each time he learned something about my condition he was back to explain it to me. And it wasn't like I was in a life threatening situation either. He took me seriously, he listened to me and he explained things and answered all of my questions without hurrying me. He determined that I was having a medication reaction the second time I had gone in and that I was going to have to "suffer through". I got worse, thought he was nuts, went to another ER, got antibiotics I didn't need, and still suffered. He was the only doctor out of many who identified what was going on and he was right. The issue eventually cleared just like he said.
