I have been seeing Dr. Lissner since the mid 90’s. He is a wonderful eye doctor that is very caring and careful. He is also very thorough. That said, it’s been a minute since I’ve seen him (moved to MI in 2017), so I hope he’s doing well. I intend to see him the next time I’m in the city.

What can you say about an eye doctor who never looks you in the eye when he's talking to you? He may be a superior ophthalmic surgeon but I found him to be unsatisfactory at the basic level of trust. Then again, I am a super-picky person when it comes to my eyesight.

Dr. Lissner had a wonderful, kind disposition and took his time explaining everything. I felt he was cheering for the best possible outcome. He was pleased to find that I did not need surgery at this point in time for my cataracts.
