Today I met with Dr. Lensing primarily for two reasons, 1. An increase in asthma symptoms and to get a referral to a specialist, and 2. To get a referral for PT for numbness in my hands. He told me after 3 minutes of a physical exam that I definitely did not have asthma (even though I was throughly tested and diagnosis over a decade ago) and that I am likely having psychiatric symptoms and it is definitely not an an inability to breath normally. About the numbness, his suggestion was that I not hold my arms in positions that cause the numbness and that only a neurologist could determine the cause. He then set a 6 mo follow up for a physical and provided no recommendations or referrals. He was exceptionally unprofessional and did not address anything that I was concerned with. I now wasted time off work and a copay for zero medical guidance. Highly disappointed and do not recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lensing since 1986 when he was solo practitioner. That should tell you what I think of him. He focuses on prevention in our visits. When I need care, he is thorough, explains everything clearly, and prescribes accordingly. I fear the day that he finally retires.
