After visiting
The visits seeing him felt rushed and I felt like we could have accomplished more had my opinions felt validated enough to try to branch off of. When you have a question he seems great at answering those. I do believe he has many qualifications in his practices, yet when we made it clear I was no longer planning to visit his polite comments and demeanor because increasingly rude. I could not help but think the clients do not deserve to be treated to rude and angry comments if they have seconds thoughts on who to see. With all of the obvious credentials I would hope this is just a thing of the past as I almost filed a complaint the same day.

I do not recommend Dr Hosfield. He has all these degrees and makes you think he knows what he's doing. In reality, he is past his prime. He misdiagnosed my daughter. I figured it out by googling symptoms, etc. We wasted a lot of valuable time and money with him. He also had her on a med that made her condition worse. Do not go to this doctor!

I spent a lot of time with Dr. Hosfield around 2008-2011, seeing him during multiple hospital visits for poly-drug dependency. He recognized that I needed to be medically detoxed when other staff were only concerned about my age. He was the one who got it into my head about what I needed to work on with my traumas, the medications I should look into, and what sort of treatment to try and receive. I still remember everything he told me to this day and I owe him a lot for saving my life.

He is a nice person and means well however, I think he is past retirement time. I felt like nothing ever really got accomplished and I was the one researching medications for my child and suggesting what we could try. I ended up learning my child was taking something different than what he told me and the totally wrong doses. I was told it lasted 3-5 hours when it actually lasted 10-12 and he was having him take 2x a day. I was extremely disappointed and I figured this out. What if I didn't?
