My colonoscopy went smoothly.Dr. Holderman briefed me on the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. All this with a kind demeanor. His staff was kind and efficient.

Went in for EGD Dr. Holderman has good energy, great personality and he explained everything to easily. He’s also patience and empathetic when I came out of the anesthesia. I would definitely recommend him. I didn’t have any complications after. Now the nursing staff in the recovery room could use some TLC. I actually wish Dr. Holderman was accepting new patient because I would love for him to be my gastroenterologist.

I had my colonoscopy and endoscopy in October 2024. Starting with the receptionist, she was great! Very professional, patient and kind. The nursing and anesthesia staff was awesome even when trying to corral my tiny rolling veins. Dr Holderman is as kind and professional and caring as he was with my first over twenty years ago. Everyone was kind, professional and genuinely caring.

First attempt at colonoscopy had to be aborted as prep did not do complete job Repeated prep for second time and was good to go. Dr Holderman gave opportunity for questions and after procedure went over results. Very professional staff

Prep was easy. Wait time minimal. Check in efficient. Dr Holderman was super at answering questions and putting me at ease. Medical staff friendly and efficient. Check in after was informative and smooth.

I've been with Dr. Holderman for over 20 years. He's the only person who could keep my crohn's under control through many surgeries. Very kind and smart!

Twenty years ago, I sought out Dr. Holderman as he was a specialist in Crohn's disease. I paid out of pocket for a second opinion with him because my then GI was unable to provide a diagnosis after 52K in tests and my insurance would not pay for a second opinion. He not only was able to provide a diagnosis but agreed to take me on as a patient that day.For the last 20 years he has listened carefully to my concerns and gets me the care I need. (3 abdominal surgeries) He spared me from an unneeded hip surgery when he was able to diagnose a different autoimmune disease causing my hip issues.

Starting with my first colonoscopy at 50, I have specifically sought out Dr. Holderman and WGI. Professional, engaging, communicative, I have been very pleased with Dr. Holderman and the WGI team. I have recently completed my third colonoscopy, and if Dr. Holderman is available in 5 years for my next screening, it will be four.

Washington Gastroenterology is excellent in providing pre-procedure information, instructions and support for any pre-procedure questions / concerns. On the day of the procedure every staff member encountered; front desk check-in, nurse screening and intake, anesthesiologist screening, and DR Holderman's pre-procedure assessment were cordial, thorough, and completely professional. As a patient that has been professionally involved in health care administration with an emphasis on quality assurance, infection control, and compliance (unknown to DR Holderman and the staff) I confidently attest to having received health service of the highest level of excellence.

Dr. Holderman is outstanding in every way! He is so compassionate and listens to everything discussed presenting different alternatives/options. My grandson is disabled and his kindness and understanding of his complex communication difficulties is endearing. I am so grateful for his care. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Holderman.

When making the appointment over the phone, Joey was so sweet. Not in a rush to get off the phone, even talking to me through her lunch break! I have white coat syndrome. The thought of going under anesthesia was terrifying to me. However, from the moment I walked through the door of the clinic I was greeted with staff who were so friendly, caring and understanding of my fear. The front office is very welcoming and comfortable, featuring a Hollywood motif. It even has a small theatre with old movies playing for those waiting. Georgia is so talented that when she inserted the I.V. I barely noticed. Dr. Holderman is very warm and kind and knew that I was scared. I didn't want to go under anesthesia, but he could tell that my anxiety would make his job more difficult and more stressful for me. Next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery. It only seemed like a minute had passed by. I highly recommend Dr. Holderman. I would definitely go back for my next colonoscopy in 10 years.
