I visited Dr HIghfill this afternoon for the first time. I did not find him rude. He did control the communication between us but I respected that. After his exam and an EKG, he did spend time talking with me and demonstrated a personal side that was not always exhibited during the first part of the examination. His questions were on point and he diligently studied my records before asking questions and making observations. I judged him to be very professional.

He was rude and quite condescending towards my mother. He frequently interrupted her and made it very clear he didn't want to hear anything she had to say. Listening to your patient is key in being a good doctor and he was too busy looking down his nose at her. He made it sound like she was wasting his time for even being there.
