Dr. Hanna is an outstanding physician!
Dr. Hanna listens, he is patient, he cares about your health and the dynamics of your personal situation. He wants to identify stressors that adversely affect your wellbeing. Please don’t judge a doctor by “waiting time.” When Dr. Hanna is with you, he takes time to answer all questions and explain his treatment plan. So, yes, the time he spends with you may make him late for his next patient. Dr. Hanna treats all patients with dignity and respect. As patients we must advocate for our healthcare. Reviews that speak to the doctor’s arrogance do not assess his competence. I’m writing this after knowing Dr. Hanna for more than 10 years. He’s treated my friends and family. Also, Dr. Hanna is not judgmental. He understands a patient’s health history does not necessarily reflect his/her conscious life style choices. I wanted to correct negative reviews I felt were unfair and without accurate foundational bases.

Dr Hanna is outstanding, caring, with great knowledge about his field and demonstrates interpersonal communication effectiveness, and excellence. I would want no other lung specialist. As with Rate my Professor.com there will be those not liking their earned grade (ie diagnosis) and retail are, in writing, untruths. My experience with Dr Hanna was & is outstanding. Sometimes Dr Hanna will allow a med student or upcoming med student sit in on consultations, but as with me, if u communicate that you prefer 1000% privacy and focus with your Doctor, Dr Hanna will respect this. I’m a critic in matters of professionalism. There is no knowledgeable specialist and caring human being than Dr Hanna! Love him!!

This dr saved my dads life. He was admitted to the hospital over 2 weeks ago. This dr drained 3 liters of fluid from my dads lungs. He could barely breath before dr Hannah did that. After that, his breathing was much better. All my dad wanted was to go home & I wasn’t sure he was going to bc my dad was unfortunately diagnosed with terminal lung cancer while in the hospital. He did make it home. This dr went above & beyond. He let my mom & I see my dad in the hospital. He was very professional, answered our & my dads questions, has an excellent bedside manner & is very sympathetic. He is definitely a dr that cares about his patients & does everything he can for them. My dad now breathes way better than he did before he went in & this dr improved his quality of life for however long he has left. I can not thank this dr enough. I wish there were more out there like him

If you actually can contact his office to make an appointment, plan on a long wait. I waited for over an hour, and I was the first appointment scheduled that afternoon.

Dr Hanna is not board certified in pulmonary medicine yet portrays himself as such. He is arrogant and short tempered. Could not be bothered to take the time to answer all our questions. His office has very limited phone hours as well as appointment hours. There are many other board certified pulmonary doctors. We switched and got the care we needed.

Do NOT see this man! He treated my family terribly along with whoever he worked with. Worst of all he made the wrong diagnosis. I would NOT recommend him of any other Beaumont pulmonologist.
