Visited Dr. Carroll for a shoulder issue. He was comprehensive in exam and X-rays and offering reasonable options for treatment. He was very competent in exam and treatments offered to me. He was kind and respectful and listened to my concerns. He explained things very well. I will highly recommend him for shoulder care and he also has expertise in knees.

Dr. Carroll performed rotator cuff surgery and repaired my bicep. He is a great surgeon. One area that frustrates me is that every appointment I go back to room at my scheduled time. But I sit there for at least an hour before I get to see Dr. Carroll. I am assuming this is due to too many appts scheduled for the same time. Maybe you need a TV in each room or updated magazines. Also after my initial surgery, I would have liked to have seen a time line of the recovery process.

Dr Carroll is an excellent Surgeon. From the first visit he an his staff made me feel comfortable in discussing my knee pain and in helping me decide on the best treatment. The first option was not surgery. Other non-surgical treatments were tried. Not until they had been ruled out was surgery suggested. Dr. Carroll explained the process and recovery making me feel at ease. In the hospital The concern and care from everyone at Roper St Francis was outstanding. It made recovery so much easier.

Today was my last visit to this Dr. Only had to wait in waiting room for 5 minutes. However was left in exam room for 45 minutes without visit from Dr. No update from nurse. I fell asleep and was in the room so long that the lights turned out automatically. Had to leave for another appointment. Upon exiting at least 5 staff looked at me to see me leaving. They were gathered in conversation. Told them i was in room 45 minutes and had to go. Be prepared to use vacation day. Not first time
