Dr. William Bowen, MD

Dr Bowen was by far the most arrogant provider I have ever encountered, his bedside manner was despicable. I presented with severe back pain, lasting over a week, and numbness in both legs at 11am. Having already exhausted conservative treatment options, chiro care, urgent care, steroids, muscle relaxers, physical therapy etc., my GP sent me to the ER concerned about a spinal compression. For 4 hours, I sat in the ER with no pain meds, waiting for an MRI, only to be lied to and told they didn’t do them there. Only after I expressed my frustration to the nurse and told her I know they have the equipment there because my husband just talked to the MRI tech, and they said they are not busy, did Dr. Bowen come into the room (for the first time) to chastise me for expressing my frustration with the nurse and agree to order the MRI. His exact words were “the only reason you are getting an MRI is because I AM who I AM!” I walked out, I don’t need favors from an incompetent provider.

Dr. Bowen is attentive, comforting, knowledgeable, and is able to explain things well. I would recommend him to anybody and everybody. He is first class!
