Dr. William Bohonyi, MD

Have never experienced doctors like him in my life. The worst of worst. No professionalism, no empathy to my partner. He acted like he lost his mind while performing the test. Me and my wife were nervous and decided never to have doctors like him. All good reviews about him might have done when he was younger or a one with good manners. Please please never try him.

I love the practice and especially Dr. Heller but Dr. Bohonyi is awful. I am leaving the practice because all of my experiences with him have been negative. He was rough with my body, has no bedside manners, is sarcastic, submitted my prescription incorrectly on a Friday and would not correct it over the weekend because he “only responds to surgical patient prescriptions over the weekend” despite my extreme discomfort and potential harm to my baby. I would strongly encourage women to seek a different provider, as they make you sign a paper that you must be willing to see all of the doctors, not just your preferred while pregnant.

Once he has his mind set on what course of action to take, there’s no changing it. Even if you are uncomfortable. Even if you would really prefer the other, safer option. He is bullheaded and will bully you into doing what he wants, no matter what YOU want.

I've been a patient for over twenty years. Outstanding professional office. Dr Bohonyi is an excellent doctor. He provides the utmost care for his patients

I  regret choosing to be in the care of Dr.Bohonyi and the Cumberland Valley office. I was hospitalized when I was 7 weeks pregnant due to vaginal bleeding, and cramping. Two days after being released from the hospital (Monday) I followed up with my primary doctor (which was Dr. Bohonyi).  I was unable to see the doctor, since I didnt have an appointment. I was counseled by one of the nurses (Angel). I told her I felt ill and was still bleeding and cramping. After reviewing the hospital records Angel reassured everything was good. I asked Angel if I qualified for FMLA, since my job was very physically demanding and I was unable to preform my job duties. Angel said the office does not like to give expecting mothers FMLA, since being pregnant isn't a reason to call off work. I was not looking for a reason to call off work, I had severe pains and bleeding. Since my job requires me to travel, I feared I would  be hospitalized again this time it would be out of state or out of the country.

I am leaving CV-OBGYN due to my experience with this provider. I cannot speak highly enough of the office staff or of other doctors, but this man disrespected my body and my autonomy. He bullied me into a corner which resulted in my c-section. I would recommend him to NO ONE.

Dr Bohonyi was my Dr many years ago and I am so happy to see that he is still practicing. He was always caring and concerned for my health and my goal of trying to get pregnant. Dr. Bohonyi was working at Cherry Point, NC military hospital when he became my Dr. We were not only dr/patient but friends as well. Wish he was practicing closer to where I now live in Nashville, TN. Hope to cross paths with him again one day.

I would not recommend Dr Bohonyi to anyone. I experienced excruciating pain while he attempted to do a cervical biopsy. Despite voicing this to him over & over he showed no concern & continued to “dig” at me. Afterward I felt faint & again no concern except to have me sign the procedure release form that they neglected to give me beforehand. When i called for results & had questions he asked me to wait while he took a personal call on his cell. I heard the entire convo. Unprofessional.

Dr. BOHONYI spent a significant amount of time putting my mind at ease, hearing my concerns, and explaining the exam and lab results. He is caring, yet gives you realistic advice and goals. He is helpful and a great resource for PCOS and fertility. If you want someone who will help you create a plan and hear your concerns schedule an appointment with him.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bohonyi for 16 years. I first met him due to moving into the area when I was 7 months pregnant and already having complications. He was wonderful then and is wonderful now. I look forward to seeing Dr. Bohonyi... HIM not the actual purpose of the appointment- I don't think anyone looks forward to that. Dr. Bohonyi is always looking out for my best interests. He cares about what's going on in my life and how it impacts my all over health. I would HIGHLY recommend him

Dr. William Bohonyi dismissed my concerns. Unfortunately my concerns were founded and I was admitted to the hospital ( by another doctor in the practice) less than an hour after being examined by him. He put my son and I both at risk and was rude to my husband and I after the fact. I love the practice but unfortunately will be leaving due to his treatment.

This office is fantastic. Very minimal wait times and friendly, caring staff. Dr. Bohonyi is great! He is very knowledgeable, honest, and takes your concerns seriously. He takes his time and does not rush through the appointment. I personally love his sense of humor, you do not expect to laugh when you're at this type of appointment but he always has me cracking up. I am happy to be a patient here.

I was an advanced maternal age patient. Pregnant at age 44. The care and manner of treatment was outstanding. I have a very healthy, beautiful daughter.
