Dr. Bauer is my primary and has been most helpful in recommending specialists when I have needed them. Dr. Bauer listens to my concerns, takes time to discuss everything thoroughly, and explains my condition in a manner that I understand. I would recommend Dr. Bauer to anyone who needs a caring family doctor.

Am a 78 year old male and have been a patient for almost 5 years. Dr. Bauer has helped manage a variety of issues over at least a dozen office visits. He listens, gets right to the heart of whatever's bothering me, makes straightforward and effective recommendations (always considering cost) and speaks in ways I can understand. Several times he felt a specialist could provide better help then the clinic could and he facilited my contact with those practices. Would strongly recommend both Dr. Bauer and the Platte Valley Medical Group.

If I could give Dr. Bauer 5000 stars, I would! I have been a patient of his for several years now. He is not only my Dr. but also my mother and father's as well. Dr. Bauer goes out of his way to answer all of your questions or concerns. He works with you to address your health concerns rather than telling you what to do. No matter the health concern, Dr. Bauer is sympathetic and quick with a solution. I believe he is no longer accepting new patients at this time. However, if you are looking and he has an opening, I would strongly suggest a meet and greet.

Dr. Bauer has been my PCP for the last several years. He is knowledgeable and always gives me advise best on his professional opinion. He answers questions regularly on MyChart which is very convenient. He is friendly and it’s always a pleasure visiting him. I can highly recommend Dr. Bauer.

my husband and I have been going to Dr. Bauer for almost 6 years, being new to Brighton, I had to find a family Dr. per my insurance, we looked at all that was affiliated with the hospital, and Dr. Bauer had a caring and kind face. after many visits with Dr. Bauer, we are so glad we chose him. I’ve had the pleasure of being Dr. Bauer’s patient for several years. He is companionate, understanding and excellent at what he does. He is always optimistic and listens to his patients. His positive outlook is contagious and his staff is also amazing. I have recommended family members and friends and will continue to do so in the future.

As a patient with multiple chronic illnesses (CVD,DM2, HTN...) it is important to not only have a conductor to my orchestra of specialist physicians, but a “jack of all trades” who can handle the day to day maintenance of all theses conditions allowing me to see the specialist only once or twice a year. Dr Bauer fits the bill perfectly. Moreover, he is more than capable of handling anything I throw his way. He’s very smart and quiet personable as is his staff. You just want to take them a basket of baked cookies or muffins every time you go in. Appointments can be made easily through the portal, sometimes for the following day (he’s busy and rightly so) or day after. Communication through the portal is also quick and easy. Lab reports and such can also be viewed on the portal. BTW my chronic conditions are in excellent control and I managed to drop 50 lbs (allowing me to stop 100 units of insulin per day). He’s an incredible cheerleader! Check out his socks and shoes. A hoot!

Dr. Bauer has been a wonderful PCP for me in so many ways. Not only is he very knowledgeable, but he has a compassion that I've never seen in a doctor. As someone who has struggled with phobias surrounding anything medical, and especially doctors, he has been fantastic. I've never had a doctor care so much about every aspect of my health. He is actively involved in my health and wellness, I feel safe with him, I trust his judgement and I know I'm getting the best care for me specifically rather than a quick "cure all".

Dr Bauer was very interested in my continued wellbeing and discussed at length my continued care. We found a common interest and discussed at length those interests to the delight of us both. I would rate Dr. Bouer 5 out of 5 stars and look forward to his care for the rest of my life (for many decades to come).

Dr. Bauer has been my PCP for a number of years. He is very compassionate and kind mixed in with brilliance in getting to the best treatment for me. When there are options for treatment he goes in depth in explaining which one he thinks would be a more viable option for my situation. He is very personable and I feel extremely confident and in his ability as my doctor to take care of my healthcare needs. I feel very blessed to have him as my physician. I would recommend him highly to any one looking for a new doctor.
