Poor office and patient communications
I believe that Dr Bauer is very competent but poor office procedures can lead to poor care. The website is outdated and there is no direct communication with the doctor. In retrospect I believe my giardia test should have been done immediately instead of 6 weeks later. During that time i lost 17 pounds and had numerous attacks of no bowel control. There were also cases of lost stool samples.

Dr. Bauer is excellent. He listens to your concerns, he will go above the allotted visit time to answer any and all questions until you completely understand what is going on, and because of that has found things going on with me that a previous doctor didn't find because he blamed my disability for what was going on instead of really looking for any issues.

Very detailed, describes what his plans for treatments are and all side effects very clearly. Also encourages second opinions when the issues are severe. He made me feel extremely comfortable and easy to trust. He has gotten me into far better shape.
