Dr Alvarez is an excellent doctor, compassionate, well mannered, takes his time going over everything. Has been my doctor for years and I will continue to be. I recommend him to everyone I know.

I live in Naples, and there is a good reason why I prefer to drive a little more than 2 hours to have my appointment with Dr Alvarez...he is the best, so gentle, he genuinely cares about his patients, he's always more than happy to answer any questions, he makes sure you get all the information you need. and his staff is always so friendly, so professional...Gloria is wonderful! she has helped me sooo many times, any question I have, I call them and Gloria and Dr Alvarez have always called back with the help I need. I would never change my gynecologist!

I was a patient for over 10 years with Dr Alvarez recommended family members and friends to that office. I took my daughter for her first visit and there was a billing issue. My daughter called various times to fix it and was being ignored she asked me to contact the office to help her and I was receiving the same treatment. They said they couldn’t speak to me due to patient confidentiality so my daughter called to give permission and even asked where she can send a letter stating that. They told her no need that someone would call her by end of day. Then I got a letter stating the Dr would no longer see me because I was a threat to patient confidentiality. I thought this was an error so I contacted the office to speak with the dr and they took a message no one ever called me back I called again to follow up and they hung up on me then left me on hold for 37 min, refused to pass a message to the Dr. or allow me to speak to the Dr. to address my concern. Im sad that loyalty means nothin

I called the office about an issue, the nurse called me back. The nurse called me again to explain and I was seen immediately. Let me also say that what I was seen for was not an emergency but how the doctors and staff handle each patient shows they genuinely care and want to provide thorough treatment quickly and I am grateful.

He has no bedside manner. Rude. Kicked me out of his office when i was scared and pregnant and told me to look in yellow pages for specialist.

Dr. Alvarez is the best! I've been a patient here for 7 years now and he's delivered both my sons. Both my pregnancies were treated with care! I have no conplaints. Super kind and caring staff. Love his assistant Gloria too!

DO NOT GO HERE. I have had the worst experience with this practice. I have been working for months to get an appt. b/c the secretary is terrible. I call and call and call again and she doesn't return my calls or take any notes that I've given her to get my insurance in network (as I am now self-insured). FINALLY she gets it figured out after I call her 5+ times. I call and confirm my appt. 15 min before they close (the day before my appt.) & she confirms. I get there the next morning (which I took off from work) and she says "you don't have an appointment, but I can try to squeeze you in..". HOW UNPROFESSIONAL. I leave upset. I then call & tell her to take me off the schedule forever & how upset I was by her using the words "squeeze me in" when I've been waiting for this appt for months. Then I get a letter from the doctor telling me that I "threatened" his practice. Never once did I get a call from him to tell him what REALLY happened. Very disappointed with this Dr.

Dr Wilfredo is amazing! My experience was pretty good, since during the whole pregnancy and during delivery he explained what were the steps to follow with all the details. Always very confident in what he is doing because of his many years of experience and that made feel relax and only concentrate myself on having my baby on my hands. I am super happy with his service and I recommend him.

Dr. Alvarez is above standard. His experience, bedside manners, calm demeanor, and professionalism are a few of many great qualities he possess. From the moment you arrive at the office, his staff is always pleasant and attentive. His nurse is the sweetest! There’s never a long wait in the waiting room or once you’re taken into an exam room. Dr. Alvarez has delivered both my children, and from the first appointment where we confirmed the pregnancy until the 6 week follow up, he was informative and thorough. He answered all my questions and always made my babies and my health as well as our safety a priority both during the pregnancy and the deliveries; which is of upmost importance. I would recommend Dr. Alvarez to anyone and I fully intend on continuing to be his patient for as long as he is in practice!

Always positive calm and easy to deal with. Never wait long to see the doctors and he has a chill approach. I never feel stressed when i see him. Even during delivery of my 2 daughters he was calm and never stressed me. Also he NEVER pushed c-section. Loved that!!!
