Saint Chouteau
I have been a patient of Dr Chouteau for 8 years. I was hit by a drunk driver a decade ago and suffered terrible cervical damage. A result of which is that I have had to learn how to cope and live w chronic pain. More recently I took a terrible fall with a syncope episode and fractured every bone on the right side of my face and severely injured my spine. My face has healed but my spinal issue remains. Because of Dr Chouteau’s expert care and state of the art procedures, I have a quality of life I firmly believe I wouldn’t have otherwise. Her NPs are also consummate professionals and equally as compassionate as she is. She is Saint Chouteau in my book.

She never gives up and extremely empathic
I have been a patient of Dr. Chouteau's for well over a decade. I have a variety of issues with my thoracic and lumbar spine. Dr. Chouteau has patiently, consistently, and thoroughly helped me identify why specific areas of my spine were in almost constant pain. About 8 years ago we finally discovered, through a variety of means, each issue that was causing me pain and a remedy that does not only rely on opiate medication. I had a lot of anxiety about medication and surgical interventions to help reduce my pain and reliance on medications. She is always understanding but also encourages her patients to try a variety of things. Don't give up, she WILL find a solution for you. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I will always be grateful to my PCP for referring me to her.

Wonderful Pain Dr. Chouteau
If I could give her 10 stars, I would. She is so kind & compassionate. I have pain from head to toe. So many times, she has kept me off the major operating table.Shes so knowledgeable & double board certified. She stays informed with all the new techniques to manage your pain. She's VERY forced on each of her patients as individuals. I could go on & on about her. She is one of my greatest heroes. I have such bad spinal pain & problems with my knees. She has addressed all of them & even made sure I received a walker. She's the very best. If you deal with pain that interferes with your daily life, make an appt with Dr Chouteau. She will help you with kindness and compassion & her expertise in Pain Management. My only regret is I hadn't found her Sooner!

I have been seeing Dr. Choteau for several years, every month. She was terrific as she began her practice. I have seen her in 3 office moves. When her practice got so large, I had to see Josette. The current office is horrific and extremely unfair to all patients. The current staff has no clue about Medical Insurance, billing, patient care or common sense, which includes the Office Manager, who insisted that I produce a RECEIPT FROM MY ER VISIT! The ER doesn't give receipts, which she should know. Also, I saw different PA'S every month. I think I saw the MD 1 or possibly 2 times in all 2019. Unfortunately, I had 2 very difficult things that were life altering. My husband was diagnosed with ALS and I was assaulted in a Dallas hospital. Because of my husband's diagnosis, my Insurance changed and I couldn't afford my meds. I chose to buy food for my family than my medicine. The OF called me and informed me that DR.CHOTEAU would not see me again for anything! Dr. Choteau never even cared!

I have cerebral palsy & Lupus. I've been seeing Dr. Chouteau for about 2 years. I love her office staff, the doctor, the way they truly care about their patients! I have ( sadly) had to go to pain management for approximately 20 yrs. I cannot say enough nice things about this office. It is a traditional pain management, as well as all the new procedures. I would HIGHLY recommend her.

Dr. Chouteau has been amazing, I went years through terrible, excruciating pain and was at a different pain management facility with no relief, came to Dr Chouteau and was told (after some tests) I needed surgery, got the surgery immediately and have been doing so much better! My quality of life is here again, I am living again and I thank her forever!

Dr.Chouteau is blessing for me, and dealing with my rheumatoid arthritis. She doesn’t try to pressure me into higher dose meds than I am comfortable with, she understands my battle with this disease, and is helping me through it. The staff is always nice, and returns my calls in a timely manner. I can’t say thank you enough to this group, and highly recommend this MD!

Texas Pain Physicians. I started seeing Dr Whitney Chouteau a few years ago and she was great. Very caring. Then she joined Texas Pain Physicians and everything changed. I can't see Dr. Chouteau any more because I was pushed over to her PA. Josette is nice and easy to talk too. The last 2 appointments I set with Josette but she evidently is busy because I got Dannielle. She is a very unhappy person. Her bedside manner is horrible. Today I waited in the patient room for 53 minutes past my appoi

She is an excellent doctor and has helped me with my neck, back and Sciatic nerve pain for the the last 4 to 5 years with some injections and a regimen of medications that have kept me from having surgery and helped me to be able to continue working with much less pain. She uses extreme care in selecting injection sites and x-ray if needed to ensure the safest and best results. The nurse practitioner helps with routine follow ups and medications. Dr. is still there for procedures if needed.

Dr. Chouteau has always been a caring doctor. Recently, Dr. Chouteau changed practices. In October, I called for an appt with her. I was scheduled for an appt on 12/8 3:00 pm. The last week of nov I was contacted to change my appt to 20 minutes later with her-i agreed. I called on 12/2 to discuss a medical issue prior to my appt I was informed I was not seeing dr but a nurse practitioner. I asked for a message to be left for dr office mgr was rude and said I was told about not seeing dr
