She is always in a hurry. I have had trouble communicating with her on mychart. (she said she didn't have time to communicate through phone calls.) Her idea of a physical is talking to you. She asked me how my belly was instead of actually palpitating it. She didn't check my reflexes, do a urinalysis, etc. It was that moment I made the decision never to return. I found a new pcp with great reviews that a friend recommended.

NEVER EVER again. I tell my friends never to come to this doctor. She told me my ear was fine without even looking into it. Her nurse asked me to do a strep test throat swab on MYSELF. No reasonable nurse asks that.

She didn't introduce herself. She didn't call back when medication was needed. She didn't say that a certain medication needed to be weaned off slowly and side effects were experienced!

Dr. Alband is great. She is extremely personable and takes the time to really listen to your concerns in order to consider all possibilities and treatment options. I feel like she gives me full attention and genuinely cares about what is going on with me as a patient. I have not had that experience with many physicians. It is refreshing to have a PCP with compassion and expertise. I definitely recommend her.
