Dr. Wassia Ahmed, MD

I was cursed with bad genes that resulted in terrible bags under my eyes. I was fortunate to find Dr Ahmed and when I met with her I was immediately impressed with her calm confidence and the way she described the changes I could expect from the surgery. The day of the operation I checked into the surgery center where I met Dr Ahmed who reassured me that I could expect positive changes to my eyes in the next week after I healed. The surgery and recovery were virtually painless. The results 2 weeks later have completely exceeded my expectations. When I look in the mirror I can't believe how much better I look. My wife was so impressed with my results that she scheduled surgery for her eyelids with Dr Ahmed as well. Dr Ahmed is one of those rare doctors who listens and communicates very well while being a skilled surgeon. If you need any type of operation on your eyes Dr Ahmed can be trusted completely and her staff at Total Eye Care in Buffalo Grove is world class.

I recently underwent an Eye Stye Drainage procedure at Total Eye Care, Buffalo Grove. The procedure was performed by Dr Wassia Khaza Ahmed. Even after two months, the eye bump did not disappear and from a cosmetic perspective, it still looked the same to me. I contacted the office again and scheduled an appointment for another painful procedure. As required for the surgery, Dr injected a fluid in my eye to make it numb, which caused extreme blurriness and irritation. Now just as I was heading to the room for the procedure, I was encountered by the lady from billing asking me to pay for the previous balance and. she was extremely rude. She said that I could only go for surgery as long as I clear the previous balance. She was completely unemphatetic of the fact that there was fluid in my eye. I have never been so humiliated before. I have never defaulted on any kind of medical bill payment but this has never happened if a practice denied service due to outstanding balance.

I had the best care when I want to Dr. Khaja Ahmed, she and her staff greeted me with compassion and understanding. I did not have to wait long for her to walk in and start to talk to me about what she is going to do. Communication was one of the biggest priority in my life and Dr. Ahmed, made it possible for me to be comfortable I know about my eyes and what exactly wrong. Yes! She and her staffs are great.

When Dr. Khaja first told me I needed surgery on my eyelids, I was super scared! I mean, come on now, this is my face you are talking about. She was so nice and confident and spent a lot of time with me. Even though I was hesitant, my fears were less with her. I didnt feel like I was being herded around like a cow through the system and she cared about what happened to me. Fast forward to the surgery - everything went smoothly and I had very little bruising or swelling. I am so glad I chose her

Dr. Khaja was amazing with me and my mother. She not only was thorough with her exam and explaining my mom's issues to her and myself; she also calls me when I am unable to accompany my mother. We have had several surgeries with Dr. Khaja and the results are amazing. I can tell she really cares about us and is very skilled.
